In the face of worldwide nuclear destruction at the hands of the maniacal mystic known as Damien Darhk, Oliver Queen (a.k.a Green Arrow) united Star City with a message of hope that allowed him to vanquish the season 4 Big Bad once and for all. However, our heroes' triumph came at a cost, and the future of Team Arrow was left hanging in the balance. Now, as the show takes aim on season 5, Oliver will set out to save his city from a new threat-one that he personally created-as both the newly appointed mayor of Star City and as the Green Arrow. The cast and creators of the hit CW series will be on-hand for a lively conversation surrounding the upcoming season. Television, Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW; Arrow: The Complete Fourth Season will be released on Blu-ray combo pack, DVD, and Digital HD on August 30.

Stephen defending my all time favourite movie Die Hard was great reckon he would actually be quite a good John McLean. Also that little dig at Die Hard 4 & 5 saying "3 were really good" was brilliant. Also very interesting to discover that the idea to make Thea Malcolm's daughter was actually John Barrowman's husband Scotts idea

This Cast seem really down to earth! I have heard that there is a portion of the fanbase having a go at Emily Bett Rickards for her portrayal of Felicity! And did see an article of Stephen Amell defending her... I am just going to put this out there, Emily is not the issue with this show! The major major issue with this show is the writing first and foremost! I accept that Arrow is a bit like a 90s Action show and isn't gritty like Daredevil/Jessica Jones type thing (which is completely fine) however the "soap opera" style dialogue is really draining the show! I get interested in seeing the wider DC universe that gets phased into this show but these days I think The Flash is getting more buzz! Because the writing is really going down the nick..... It's a shame really because they seem like a talented Cast but just don't get great lines to work with! I can imagine from an Acting point of view it must be a very frustrating experience...

I am not saying it is better, just think it services its fans more successfully... I guess you could argue that with coming later it has the advantage to anticipate things better... I do agree with u that a bigger buzz doesn't necessarily mean a better show! however I think there will be a large portion who watch both shows.... Either way the flash isn't my issue here, it is the writers on arrow! who waste a good cast and should be writing for soap operas....

+TheSnagglebitch I will add this : Arrow is'nt a soap as you're calling it. I guess, what you want is : Oliver and his partners fighting crime in the streets of the city + Felicity guiding the from her keyboard like they used to in seasons 1 and 2. That's what all of us are hoping to have in season 5. But, show can't be only that. We need to know what is going on in their lives (Oliver, Felicity, Oliver and Felicity , Diggle and Lyla, Thea and Malcom, Curtis and his husband , the training of the new team etc... Showing all of that does'nt mean the show is a soap.

+Juju Mpe there is heavy focus on these relationships to the point that it compromises the plot! Oliver blaming himself every episode without just cause, is the type of melodrama that cheapens the show and disrupts the story! Oliver and felicity have been handled in a manner where the triggers for conflict are plumbing the depths so much that l forget I am watching a comic book adaptation as it feels more like one tree hill.... I can't imagine that is what comic book fans and casual viewers are looking for in the show! Conflict needs to come natural over time, not at the drop of the hat to justify set piece... if that is the style of programme you want then that's absolutely fine! I might consider dropping off I think... I am not having a go at the overall production of the show, just pointing out that the writers are using tropes that are from soaps... I enjoy the universe building in the show and hope that it gets stronger from now on. Not expecting anyone to have to agree, just an opinion....

Bobby Roode my friend apparently you don't know much about actor acting doing it early parts of this century they had to talkies and which the actor just acted cuz it ain't had no microphones when sound with motion picture was invented a lot of Silent picture actor van out of work because they voices Justin go with the character in came the British Invasion of British actors who taught American actors how to add voice with their characters if you look at their early pictures that is now required training at the British Academy of Arts in UK the train you how to do different accent for different countries for instance there's no such thing as a Canadian accent they train you do the North American accident which might be America Midwest or Canada the lead actor in The Walking Dead He's British there's a lot of actors in movies and TV that are British they fitted today character because British actors are classically trained at the London Royal Academy of acting they're trained for stage work radio voice over acting in front of a camera you name it like the actress on Supergirl one that plays Lena Luthor she's Irish but she trained in Britain so
