to be fair, the Arrowverse was a very well connected universe. There was a time when people put the Arrowverse on a similar level as the MCU, far above the DCEU. Quality of the shows aside, they were able to link the shows and make a cohesive and, eventually, cooperative universe. The fact that the CW was able to make regular crossovers, not to mention the whole Crisis thing was impressive. Plus, Greg Berlanti did a lot more than just the Arrowverse.

People knew who The Flash was. He had a show in the 90s. And The Flash had been featured in animation. Same with Green Arrow. He appeared on Smallville. Same with Supergirl who even had a movie. The only you could make an argument is Black Lightning. And Berlanti already worked on a movie. Green Lantern. He was supposed to be involved in the show. But that version got canceled and they are doing a different show. From what I heard his contract with WB ended. He's working over at Universal.

@@callmejacob3234Yeah eventually and that took years. In the beginning he wasn't a fan favorite...when Arrowverse superman was originally on supergirl he was written as more of a sidekick and inferior to supergirl. The redemption wasn't until years later on superman and Lois they basically combined the concept of Smallville and Lois and Clark to make that show with influence from DCEU superman as well

@@jasonhearn5818 Superman & Lois gave us the best modern Superman ever. It put the DCEU version to shame. What was Warner Bros thinking when they made the DCEU?
