Havertz took half a season to develope to his level now, a lot of Arsenal fans (me included) didn't even want him, but Arteta has as usual has proved himself right. Havertz has more G's/A's in this season so far, than in any single season of the 3 whilst at Chels.

Regardless of whether or not Arteta overcomes Pep or Klopp this season he's proven that he can compete with them. For this reason I would be happy if we gave him a new 5 year contract at the end of the season even if we finish 3rd because I believe in what he's doing & I love the team he's built. Also after all the criticism his signings have got Havertz, Jorginho, White, Tomiyasu, Odegaard, Raya, Ramsdale, etc, I hope Arsenal fans will finally relax & back whoever Arteta signs in the future trusting that he has a plan for them without just automatically criticising the signing thinking they know better than Arteta, Edu & the backroom staff.

@@grimjimbo2059 After beating both of them this season & competing with them at the top of the league I'd have to question your logic as to him being a long way behind them. I agree that the team he inherited when he took over was a long way behind Pep & Klopp's teams but he's closed that gap significantly & you could make a case for Arsenal's team being the best in the league right now. Pep & Klopp are older managers with longer track records but tactically Arteta has shown that he can match them. Klopp hasn't beaten Arteta home of away in the league for 2 seasons btw so it seems tactically Arteta has the edge over him right now despite Klopp being older & more experienced.

I agree that with Arsenals remaining fixtures and CL games that we could easily drop points. However, I think we are still learning what this side can achieve when fully fit. If you told me at the beginning of the year, that by April we would’ve only conceded 4 goals and a +51 goal difference, I would never have believed it. Not cause I don’t believe in the team, but that is a step ahead of what we expected of them. So it shows this team is already defying the odds. I’m just enjoying the moment and taking it game by game, and if we don’t win the PL, we assess and recruit in the summer to help us compete again next season.

8:08 to 8:17 is such an understated point. The argument is "You can only beat the team in front of you" but the team in front of City is very often a weakened one so they can save resources for more immediate rivals.

Bro Arsenal can't be the lesser out of the three that man utd can deal with. We took 4 points off of both of them. They haven't beaten us this season. We already took 3 points off of man utd. We have the best defense and the best attack in the league so far this season. I like Mark's opinions but I think this one is coming from past observations because presently, we're playing really really good.

i’ve been saying it for the last few weeks, as a liverpool fan I’m much more worried about arsenal catching us out rather than city. I think both City and Arsenal mount unbeaten runs to the end of the season.

As a Spurs fan I think they'll tear us apart, Arsenal are a proper unit now and Angeball at the moment seems to be about having a couple of intense ten minute spells at the start or end of games and a lot of slow predictable plodding inbetween.
