I think they lost 1-7 to Blackburn less than two months later and they somehow came in 3rd with a minus goal difference having managed to concede between 60 and 70 goals. Yeah happy days indeed.

@@thetruthk5138 The facts don’t lie mate they scored 61 and let in 65 oh yeah and they lost 12 games and bombed in both cups. That’s actually a bad season in reality. They only came in third because it was a very poor league that year. I’m not being negative just realistic. And once again they lost 1-7 against Blackburn, that’s an even bigger blot on what was in reality a poor season.
