Our most pressing need is a #6. Partey is too injury prone, and Jorginho is getting old and slower. Rice filled in well, but his passing is not as progressive as Partey and Jorginho are. His passing map shows a lot more sideways and backward passing, so we don't move the ball forward as quickly, which is when we are at our most dangerous. Rice for us is a better L8 than 6. When we hit our rough patches last season, several of the games were when Rice was our 6. If we don't get this position right, it will hurt us as it is the key to linking the backline to the forwards and Odegaard. As for getting 30 mil for Ramsdale, good luck on that. Arteta devalued him by not playing him, and when he did play, it was after very long breaks in between games, so he wasn't sharp. The worst part is he is our best keeper but Arteta wants to risk everything on Raya who was responcable for 30% of the goals scored against him through his own errors, He made 2 huge errors that cost us against Munich and all the errors that wound up in the back of our goal in the EPL that cost us the title. I beg to differ Mr Potts- I would be annoyed with a player whom we might be targeting if his mentality is the way you put it there . The why would I come to Arsenal to sit on the bench .. there will be lots of of games next season so there will be plenty of games for everyone. And whoever we bring in has to be of a first team quality.. that way when we do change it the level of quality does t drop .
