@@slyarsenal what I meant is that we didn’t sub on particular players that we would need as back up(odegaard/Emile, Saka/nelson/viera) in consecutive games to get them into rhythm and match sharp. There were lots of subs used but without regularity in appearance and game time they always looked slightly off the pace when they did get a chance. If Emile had played 25-30 mins in most of the games where we had the luxury to do that he would be a lot more able to deputise for odegaard if needed in the tail end of the season. Same with the other mentioned players.

@@arjitjere1559 Halftime subs can be dangerous. Ruins the balance of the team and can be dangerous even when 2-3 goals up. This is why most subs are done between the 60-75th min and usually it's 2 players first then another 2 later, depending on in-game management. I think too many fans think they can do a better job than Arteta. It happens every time we have bad results. Everyone thinks they can outdo a pro manager who has a team of professionals from coaching staff, medical staff and anaylsts. Look at Liverpool and City. All team look tired. Liverpool probably worse than Arsenal. Why aren't people like you critiquing Klopp or Pep? Is it because theyve won trophies and are exempt from the same judgement as Arteta? Or is it because people can't see obvious facts? Get behind the team, do your part, stay in your lane and allow leave the coaching to the professionals
