The biggest issue with arsenal that no one has addressed is that the fanbase have set expectations basis last year's performances. In all honesty, the team over-performed last season and were aided by other teams faltering. Havertz is a 70M flop cuz he neither solves the Left centre-mid conundrum nor does he solve the striker issues. Arteta should have addressed this in the summer instead of trying to fit Havertz in his squad. The team has enough creativity to generate goalscoring chances, but no one to finish it off.

He’s 5th choice when it comes to midfielders that will start and be brought on and with the midfielders all covering more ground this year im not sure thiago has the legs in him to play in that 8 role with the intensity of the others, we might see him be a backup in the 6 position to endo and allow macca to be the more advanced one if anything

Arsenals Best lineup (when everyone is fit) to sort the creativity issues whilst maintaining good defensive structure imo: Martinelli Jesus Saka Odegaard ESR Rice Partey Timber Gabriel Saliba Raya This would ideally sort out the issue of Martinelli being isolated on the LHS and Timber and Odegaard can hold Declan Rice’s hand in the buildup. Also the ESR Saka linkup is needed because Odegaard and Saka are playing way too robotic

Its clear to see that arsenal are struggling due to the sheer amount of games, with the introduction of champions league its taken a toll on the squad and arteta is deploying the same 11 hence why they are struggling, last season was different purely down to the lack of european football althought they havent played in the last few weeks, last season for example was one game a week and the busiest period was the winter period but they only played europa in october and then again for round-16 in february and they got knocked out with this season they've played champs league until first week of december - which I think is the main factor for their poor performance, also the intensity of the arsenal games was always bound to catchup on them and arteta hasnt man managed that well and needed to provide rest to key players like saka and martinelli for instance - rotation breeds competition and arteta needs to do that in order to put the fire in the arsenal players that they need to kick on - they can still win the league alot of football to be played yet

Arteta needs to put in Jorginho to control the game more and start ESR in the havertz position and switch Havertz to false 9
