Rice has shown bravery and ambition; West Ham have shown professionalism and got a fantastic deal, Arsenal have shown spirit, endeavour and determination, the English Premier League has retained a great player, and the English fans can see one of their own on the league each week.

Massive statement of intent this by Arsenal, forget the price tag. In years gone by the Gunners would miss out on transfers like that and now they've landed one of England's best midfielders. Arsenal needed a leader in that area of the pitch and now they have one. I don't think it will be enough to take the title from Manchester City, but it certainly gives us strength for the Champions league.

Arsenal fans been wanting him for years and to get him after putting 100mil into transfers already. People said if city join the race he will join them but Rice had his eyes on playing under Arteta the whole time!!

I don't think arsenal were bullied at any point last season other than City at the ethiad which was embarrassing but was one game that we weren't mentally prepared for. Physically we are fine, and we'll still be better with rice in there. Hopefully partey stays which turns our midfield into a machine

Arsenal unfortunately have smashed this transfer window out the park, adding rice who is mustard. Timber who can play both rb and cb at a high level and havertz who by all means hasn’t been his best but is versatile and with confidence and a competent team I think he’ll be a great addition especially with depth. Arsenals bench was a shambles last season now they have havertz trossard Jorginho etc.

The bargain of rice is the potential to be better with better players week in week out not just when he goes to England. plus being an English player with the inflated price it’s about right which is still crazy imo.
