I managed to get myself in the director's box at Molineux for the game. I had Keir Starmer three seats in front of me, Robert Plant just to my right, Edu just to my left and I shook hands with Pat Rice at half time. That and the free food and drink may have caused me to enjoy the game slightly more than I should've.

Using your players a lot is not bad, but running them into the ground is a big problem, if we lose Odegaard or Saka right now...its a huge factor, quality of the players is obviously the reason for this, but if we can get the most important players more rest next season I can see how we keep our winning ways next April

If merely having access to the corridors of the Premier League was sufficient to foster change mich would have changed already I'm sure. Multiple clubs have used the "prescribed channels" and all we've got are excuses and apologies without meaningful change. Something has to give, and maybe that's a reality we all need to face. It's not grat to have to question motives and integrity, but given what we're being fed weekly, what else are people expected to do? Conflict, I discovered a long time ago, is necessary for change. Doing things the same way all the time never really leads to change

Eap as Man U have drawn twice with Liverpool (90 minsl and once with City in recent tomes. They get outplayed by lower teams but dangerous on the break when they accept second best teams

I never bought into the idea that Mikel wanted to do "Kai at 8" at the beginning of the season. Why start him at 9 in the community shield then ? It was a way of integrating a player very low on confidence into the lineup. A lot less attention to his goalless games compared to if he was played at 9. Then the Partey injury happened & Mikel had no other choice than to play him at 8. I don't like when people talk about it like Mikel somehow stumbled onto Kai@9. That was always the plan. You don't play a 6'4" guy in midfield. You play him in either boxes.

We really do need a player that can pass through the lines as in a replacement for thomas who psses through the lines mmaking goals as in last season we miss that this year

I love Arteta. That being said, I wish I could understand his mindset as to why Zinchenko doesn't feature for Arsenal as a central midfielder, just like he does for Ukraine.

When we started this years run first performance was ? Palace 5 but not actually great. Then we got better and better until tailing off. Hopefully this again start of climb that lasts 5 games. 🙏. How is Brighton injury list? Hopefully they have a great game and take some points.

By DEFINITION you cannot 'invert' from centre back. Unless you play in the nether. Words guys, use them correctly...

36:39 on White; If he is going to make runs into the opps box and be at the end of chances, I think it is reasonable to want him to improve his finishing, right now it looks hit and hope-ish imo. He is world class and should be punishing teams for leaving him open.

His final third play has really improved since start last season. Teams left gim with ball last season and closed down Saka and Odegaard. Now he is a danger and assisting odd goal. Hopefully evolution continues

Another way to put the kiwior discussion to bed is what is our XG against either Zinchenko in the team vs Kiwior? Kiwior has the advantage here

Rice isn't wasted in 6 anymore than Rodri. Rodri definitely doesn't just stand in front CB but he ain't an 8.

Zinchenko is much better at left back than kiwior. I agree he needs to be subbed at 65mins. Kiwior gets beat every single game he plays. Tomiyasu is our best leftback by a country mile.
