What he did, after we moved to Emirates to consistently get us top 4 and getting the best out of players who would be deemed bang average in any other team, is remarkable. He had limited resources bc we paid a fortune, especially at that time, for the Emirates stadium, and we had to sell our best players to repay the debt generated from that every year. Yes, his final two seasons were not amazing, he may have stayed around for too long, but even then he did leave us much better financially than when we moved in to the Emirates. Arsenal were in need of a change... but, it goes without saying, this man is our best manager in history, all Arsenal fans like me love him for what he's done for our club and deserves a statue There’s only one Arsène Wenger 🙌🏼🔴⚪️

@kanbar82 Arsenal were in massive debt after buying Emirates. They had to make profits every transfer window by selling the best players, and replacing them with cheaper options. Arsenal fans will sing 49 undefeated forever thanks to Arsene Wenger. He won you three leagues in 8 years while you only won three leagues in 44 years before him! Two doubles of which you only ever had one and invincibility that only he achieved in history! He won more FA Cups in his time than Arsenal won in a hundred years before him. And he really overachieved under Kroenke. Some of those squads should've been midtable and he got them Champions League football! When Emery came and got lucky in a match they kept saying "we would've lost under Wenger, we had no spine under Wenger" etc. They act as if everything he did after 2006 was bad. They give him credit for nothing and disrespect him at every chance. I'm not saying all Arsenal fans are ungrateful, but too many of them are and you can't deny it. Remember when Arsenal fans were saying 'top 4 isn't enough, the quarter-finals of Champions League isn't enough'. Since that, they've been begging to get anywhere close to it. AFTV got this man sacked so they could make money from his downfall, make no mistake about it.

Only a fool would blame a section of the fanbase for results on the pitch or decisions made by the club. Arsenal not getting top 4 started with Wenger he came 5th ans 6th in his last two seasons. The same group of average players are *still* at the club because he and the old hierarchy put them on high wages and wont leave until theie contracts are finished. AFTV is a by-product of the results on the pitch *not the cause of it* .

He's the reason for that! If you're not good enough, you should have self respect and resign. He lost the league to Leicester! And he was one of the highest paid managers in the world. Another Wenger apologist, respect where it’s due for what he’s done in the past and I repeat past. But our record away at the big 6 over the years is diabolical especially under him. 8-2, 6-0, 4-0, 6-3, 6-1 need I go on? It’s professional not personal. We will always love Wenger but sentiment doesn’t win anything.
