In the punisher scene it’s almost like he goes through the stages of grief, like he’s saying wait over and over again trying to bargain then he’s crying in depression, then he almost seems to accept it for a second, and finally when he speaks again his voice turns angry. Remember not everyone goes through the stages in order or even all of them
