I finally bit the bullet and signed up for your Skillshare classes since I'm addicted to your KZfaq videos and they are never long enough for me. I also signed up for Sketchbox. Has anyone ever told you that you have the most soothing and calming voice? You are giving us non-artists inspiration that we can create. Well, I can do a little bit of watercolor landscapes in an abstract sense and I do so love alcohol inks and gelli plate printing, but I count myself as a non-artist really. You give me so much inspiration.

Hi Denise! Wow, those are some great subscription boxes. My favourite was Sketchbox as well. As a person who mainly has done watercolour landscape/seascape paintings, your channel is such an inspiration to me in learning mixed media abstract art. Abstract art IS art, and it's always been a popular form of art since the 19th century. I really appreciate learning these techniques from your videos to help my own artistic journey. The painting you made was gorgeous. My favourite part of the piece were the gold dots on the red. They remind me of strawberries!

Last night while preparing dinner, i was about to throw out a small plastic mesh bag the garlic came in, but noticed it’s fine diamond pattern a durable plastic. So I cut the sewn bag parts and now have two squares which I’ll try as a stencil especially with the gold mica paste i just got in the mail! Thanks for the inspiration!

I believe what develops during abstract painting becomes something “real”, it’s a matter of interpretation. Stare at a Pollock for a few minutes, you see the whole world. I love your style and have been applying your loose techniques and now enjoy creating more than ever…thanks Denise.

I’ve always used my art for therapy and for pleasure I’ve always use it as a divisional technique to help take my mind of chronic pain and health issues as well as depression, however, I’ve never really been able to get an emotion out of me onto the page and feel any sort of release until I watch your channel. For the first time in my life a couple of weeks ago in hospital with my art therapist I decided to embark on your expressive therapy technique and I was able to get all The anxiety and stress that I’ve been building up inside me out onto the page. I felt such a relief and I was actually tired and exhausted after the process. It was a very amazing feeling. You are a wonderful teacher

I can see two beautiful yellow, budding roses that are just buds and have had the green peel away. The vines/wire around them reminds me of the crystals on a chandelier. It’s almost like you’ve combined the two a rose chandelier. It looks so beautiful.

Whenever I watch you do abstract Denise, my mind always picks out characters...like looking at clouds as a kid. You could photograph the paint part before you embellish and make a whole reverse colour journal !!!😅 interesting challenge idea....can you do a full palette swatch out AND turn it into one of your abstract masterpieces 🤔..just curious. Love this opaque palette❤❤

I received the same package this past month with the travel water color tray, so glad to hear your opinion. I really liked your mark making especially in black. I'm addicted to your videos. Really enjoying your positivity.
