Jay is also the wither and artist of the popular cartoon horror comic: Dwellings which adopts a humorous vintage Harvey Comics style with a macabre twist. Now Jay is set to launch another retro-style title: Figgy Furthermore The Spirt Guide Dog an all-ages series with Gold Key Comics.

Do you think the reason why it's easier to draw Spawn for example than Charlie Brown is because spawn and other art styles are more angular and straight lines which to me would be easier to draw and Charlie Brown and other similar art styles are more circular and are more harder to do fre flowing while drawing/inking?

It may or may not be easier to draw Spawn than Charlie Brown. The point is when a character is simplified to iconic shapes if you get one tiny thing wrong it stands out like a sore thumb. With a character like Spawn that is rendered in so many extraneous lines, there are so many ways that you could be off-model and still have it be completely recognizable as the character.
