@@DivorcedFL Hi...Which Artcise Tripod is on the video? many thanks.

I bought an artcise tripod and it came with the ball head as I needed the arca attachment for a rifle to shoot at some distance standing. Very impressed so far only concern I have is the mount has started to wobble which is attached to the ball might just need tightening with the screw but overall very impressed can wait to get my camera on it

How well has it worked out?
@JakeBurgessOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
@@HarleyRidinF00L excellent put some lock tight on the thread that screws the mount onto the ball head and its a dream. Comfortably shoot targets out to 600m off of it and dont leave home without it when shooting. Great bit of kit

Great new set up and it looks rock solid. I have been watching all the latest vlogs, but something has always got in the way time wise to comment. I will rectify that soon as I enjoy leaving the comments. Have you photographed the Jupiter and Saturn conjunction at all? I did so last night as it was the first clear night sky in Hereford for a week. I used the 5D mark ii and my Tamron 70-300mm at 300mm. Had to crop the image after magnifying of course, but was pleased with the result. I wished I had that tripod set up as my Neewer was not rock solid. Any way, looking forward to seeing images now you have the new ball head. I think maybe a Christmas present from my is coming this way after seeing the review.😁

Antony Halls thank you and welcome back. I enjoy reading your comments, as I do everyone’s. I’ve been out with it several times now, it’s been awesome. Unfortunately here in Devon the weather has been pretty grim. We’ve had local floods in some areas.

I purchased this ball head as a backup about two months ago. I was out in the field last month (using it only the second time), and when I unscrewed the foot plate, the springs holding the lateral foot plate came undone. the bullhead became unusable. Since I had purchased it from Amazon and it was past the return date, I was stuck. I then purchased a separate lateral plate holder and attached it to the bullhead and I am now able to use it. I will be ever careful next time, when I unscrew the footplate.

Hi Dave. Just wondering what model of innorel is your tripod? Im planning to replace my old tripod to more sturdy one!

glenn benedicto it’s actually the artcise AS90C tripod. I got it from Amazon.

What I don't get is why install the tripod's leveling base when all that is going on top is a ball head. If used with a video head, or any head with independent adjustments for the two axis, the leveling base is fantastic, perhaps indispensable. But with a ball head it would seem to be just that bit more weight. In the tripod video it comes with a regular flat plate to start, so it isn't like it requires anything else to be purchased.

For panoramic images, the leveling base can be really helpful especially if you are shooting on rugged landscapes that makes leveling the tripod more challenging

Hi Dave, Took stock of one today via Amazon. I noticed the base has a 3/8th thread. However, no 3/8th to 1/4" thread adaptor came with it which I need. Do you know where I can get some thread adaptors both male to male and male to female?. Thanks.
