Even if they hadn't disqualified the rightful winner of the contest, listening to him go down the scummy checklist would be enough to make me jump ship if I were (working with/enslaved to) them. So after 10 rolls they chose a winner. The previous 9 rolls was deemed not eligible for the prize for various reasons. The first chosen gets enough traction for the justified poo-storm to get noticed, thankfully! The well deserved recognition to Kiapiaa is fantastic, but I also feel for the other 8 channels that I'm guessing got an similar treatment on the stream in question. I'm hoping for a follow-up video on the other 8 also, so Artesian Builds full actions are taken into account. Not that I expect there to be any redeeming factors, but to show the other 8 channels the same consideration and recognition. Thank you SidAlpha for showing us this poo-storm, the idiocy and entitlement of the Artesian Builds "hosts" were clear.

They emailed Kiapiaa saying they would now send the PC, after all this happened of course, but she declined it for obvious reasons.

Following this shitstorm for just like the last 2 hours, I'm glad that it ending well for Kiapiaa. Not only will she get a PC from Jay2Centz, but also one from MetaPCs and a sponsorship with Coolermaster on top of all new followers and subs she gotten. I also love how she told Artesian "no thx" when they eventually caved and tried to offer her a PC anyway.

"Hey I know we said anyone could win but your channel's too small for us to get good advertising from it." ...You have to be a special kind of stupid to turn a giveaway contest into bad PR. Those things are the poster child of free good boy brownie points for companies.

It really says something about someone's character when you discover that even an *extremely* small amount of power goes directly to their head.

I cannot believe that this is happening. I applied for one of their jobs back in November 2021. After more than a month of interviews they accepted me. They simply said to send them my details and start working. After asking about the offer they simply ghosted me. The professional people in the company(or one particular manager) were leaving while I was aplying for the job.People that came after had no idea what to ask for that specific role and what kind of answers to expect. And not only they soiled their image online but they also crushed their image as an employer after this tax evasion thing. I am so glad I never left my job for them!

Might want to point out, it looks like 'Artesian Builds' failed to pay there taxes, so there company is currently in hot water with the IRS and have lost there business license as of the 2nd March (also this isn't the first time it's happened)

I cannot wait to see if this goes to court and they have to explain their behavior that is recorded openly to the court.

Hey Sid, Artesian Builds could be finding themselves in much more hot water than even this video shows. They didn’t just overlook Kia. They re-rolled 9 times after that. 10 people weren’t picked, including one person who was told that their current computer was better than the giveaway one, and therefore didn’t need it. Would it be right to assume that they’ve broken the law each time they picked again? Because one count of fraud would be bad enough, but 10.. I’d pay to be in the peanut gallery for that hearing.

What a bone headed way to treat a small streamer that was advertising for them.. They totally deserve to lose any partnerships or sponsors due to the way they had no problem screwing someone over that way. Glad to see the community rally behind her. Cheers 🍻 👏 ✌️

They just fired all their employees and the company is shutting down they're also issuing no refunds but they still have their site up selling PC's 🤣

i'm nowhere near as big as these guys, or Jay, or cooler master, but I'm giving a custom modded computer chassis to two of the rejected winners(there were MANY btw). i can't afford the parts but my work is WORLD ABOVE theirs because every single piece i build is a one-off.

Maybe no one's clicking on their ads because no one wants their garbage ??

having rules that need to be followed is one thing, having a rule which is basically 'need to give us X amount of free advertising' is BS. The giveaway IS the advertising, they should need to meet a giant list of arbitrary requirements beyond basic 'can I ship the machine to this person' , the level that the troll through her accounts is astonishing, it was a giveaway not a social security check

I love how their sweepstakes stream consisted of dissecting their winners' sub and view counts. That's quality content, putting your "ambassadors" under the analytics microscope and then derisively saying "nah dog you don't cut the mustard." Whoooof. Nothing says devaluing your community and partners like a livestream putdown. Noah deserves nothing but to be known for his colossal screw-up and eventual, inevitable spiral into obscurity.

Yea I have a list of companies to never buy from on one of my marker boards in my home office/gaming room. This went on that list this morning. I don't always remember them so I started a list a couple yrs back. Because that's really the only way to hurt companies without doing something shitty like them. And if you don't think things like that work, try to remember when it came out the old Kraft mac n cheese powder was revealed to have a dye that has the potential to cause cancer or something similar and they refused to change it. So moms banded together online on their forums and it cost the company millions in a short period of time and then they removed the chemical. And really, stop wasting your money on pre built rigs, folks. It's easier than changing a car tire to build a PC. And changing a car tire isn't hard at all.

Their "apology" video is cooked, not only is the apology one of the worst ones I've ever seen but the audio quality is abysmal, it's like it's been recorded on a phone through speakers. Disgusting company

If Intel were to threaten to pull sponsorship over this, Artesian Builds would likely listen immediately. Their brand is associated with them, and the PR problems are very unfortunate. By the way, I'm still expecting the update video regarding you-know-who to be anywhere between half an hour to a full hour.

I get the idea that they're trading advertising space for entries into a competition, but it seems backwards to give away gaming PCs to people who already have the income to just buy a high end gaming PC... This is like giving away a Ferrari, but to enter, you have to drive around in a sports car worth at least $200k with ads for Ferrari stuck to the windows.

Any company, any brand that is willing to lie and cheat on something as simple as a giveaway is just absurd! They don't deserve to have the fame or attention they have when they pull cheap stunts like that. Ten people had their names drawn and nine were turned down for reasons they never clarified in the requirements. This moving the goalpost thing is really starting to make me mad especially when good people are put down for just trying to follow the rules. Artisanbuilds should be required to pay out of pocket and build all nine declined participants the exact same rig that was being offered and ship it for free to them. However from what I hear they are quite possibly going to no longer exist as a company due to supposed tax evasion allegations. Honestly this little stunt of theirs might have exposed them into having to close down and leave shop. And I hope so because trash like that doesn't deserve to have a business where they can scam people out of their hard work and money.

There is no shortage of companies online that will sell you a PC. There is absolutely zero reason to give your business to shady companies like Artesian.

so if i'm understanding this right, these rather idiotic cheapskates could owe about 10 computers at the least and possibly dozens to hundreds more depending on investigations into prior giveaways. edit: oh, and monetary compensation for damages/lawsuit costs if one occurs.

I think Artesian Builds should be required to offer every single person they tore down a build. A build of the highest spec. A $500 Motherboard to support what I'm about to list. An i9 12900k paired, an RTX 3090, 64GB of DDR5 RAM at the highest speed. The best 2TB SSD. Every single person should get at least a $5000 build and you can say it's not fair for them to have to spend that much money on around 10 people, maybe Artesian builds shouldn't have torn people down. And if one of these streamers say no, then they should offer it to one of that streamer's viewers. And if these people want out of their affiliate program, they should release them from their contract and honour any contractual obligations.
