From an Arsenal fans perspective, it seemed like the Chelsea players didn't know what to do as a team... Someone like Harry Kane is an extreme example when compared to Jackson, but when Kane drops in to receive a ball he ALWAYS then sprays it out wide really quick - he already knows what the plan is, what he has to do, so he is a few steps ahead. Jackson didn't seem to have that plan in his mind (if that was the plan) when he received a ball in midfield. He didn't seem to know what to do other than run towards goal. Similarly, Chelsea's defenders and midfielders didn't seem to have a plan for moving the ball forward. Arsenal's press is great, but Chelsea didn't come with a plan for taking the ball from defense into attack.

Here’s the thing Rory, harping on nostalgia from 2006-2012 Chelsea will be futile. Back then Chelsea was the only team financially doping in a climate when FFP was not even existent. You can nick your rivals’ best players, nick their top transfer targets and nobody able to match you financially to stop that. Now you have City also doping, teams like Sp*rs are also developed organically that they’re in good position to compete financially. Liverpool and even Everton will have a >60k stadium. Chelsea will go nowhere until they figure out how to operate like a proper football club, and currently that clearly doesn’t seem to be the case. To put the blame solely on Poch isn’t it.

I think managers now are so tactical that they’ve killed off a lot of the individual ability that we were used to seeing even from 2000-2015. Off the top of my head cr7, Messi, r9, Zidane, dinho, Henry, kaka, Xavi, pirlo, modric, scholes, gerrard, lampard, iniesta, and there’s easily another 30 players u could name that were of that quality. The players of today I can realistically only think of 10 that might be of that quality. Even when I look at salah, he’s a great goal scorer but is he of the footballing ability of Eden hazard?

To me, Poch is a good coach. Not a great coach. He tries to play attractive football, but his teams dont have a mentality to win trophies.
