Arteza Pouring Acrylic Paint Review (Ready Mixed Acrylic Pouring Paint)

In today's video I thought I would review the box set of Arteza pouring acrylic paint, which is a set of ready mixed acrylic pouring paint in a bunch of different colours! I wasn't familiar with the brand Arteza, let alone the Arteza pouring acrylic paint set, so I was quite apprehensive when it came to testing out this ready mixed acrylic pouring paint. However I was SO impressed with this pouring acrylic paint set! I think the idea of having a ready mixed acrylic pouring paint is a great idea, especially for people who don't want the chew of mixing their acrylic paints with a separate pouring medium. I also thought the colour choices in this Arteza pouring acrylic paint set were wide ranging, saturated in pigment, and applied so well! Although this box of Arteza ready mixed acrylic pouring paint was expensive, I do think it was worth the money, and I'm sure there would be smaller boxes of the Arteza pouring acrylic paint if you had a smaller budget. I just found your videos and I love them! I too am CRAZY for color! My home is bohemian and crazy colorful and maximalist. Your videos make me laugh and I love your personality and your accent. You are also easy on the eyes.

Hi Anthony! I use a lot of arteza paints (acrylic and gouache) , I also have their brush pens. The metallic acrylic are fabulous! They will label clearly the opacity of the paints. The down side they don’t sell individual tubes!

Oh brush pens sound good! I'll have to have a little bit more of a dig around at their art supplies! Ah I see! That's probably why I ended up with like 40 of them 😅

Wow, that big painting tho...gorgeousness on a canvas! I liked the little one but it wasn't as bright and happy making for me, although those cells on it were very nice. Your excitement over that big painting is how I get over making things with clay, it makes me immensely happy! I love art, it's so much fun! God bless you Ant!

The striped painting is fabulous 😍 I’m glad you left all the drips on the sides of the canvas too! And those colours look so rich with a satin like finish 😍

Just discoverd you am totally obsessed. Would you please please please try the oil filled Mason jar candles and the space heater made with tea lights and terracotta pot. I knkw they arnt really crafts but they are all over social media and i know you would give nothing but honest advice x

Arteza is a pretty good brand, I used their sketchbooks for awhile. I'm glad their pouring paints are good.

They are a really good brand for trying out different mediums because they are affordable too.

Hi Anthony, loved this! You're hilarious. 2 things though. If you had painted the canvas first, then the paints would have moved more for you. Also arteza have there own online shop in UK and free delivery. They wouldn't have cost you as much. Question for ya, do you consider acrylic pour painting as an art form? Also what kind of paintings do you make?

Ah thanks! Glad you enjoyed it Martina! Yeah you're right it would have! Oh I didn't know that, I'll keep it in mind for next time! Yeah I do consider acrylic pouring an art form, does it (in my opinion) require a lot of skill? Not soo much, I think the paint and surface do a lot of the work, but it also depends on the ideas and how experimental you are with it. I make abstract paintings but I'm more of a sculptor/3D worker.

That first one looks really good. I think Arteza has bit of a reputation amongst artists not sure if it's a good one though.

Oh I had no idea! But tbf it's quite common on KZfaq for people to be given free shit in order for them to give them a good review. They didn't send it to me for free don't worry, I have the receipt! 😅😅

Also if you use a heat gun that can boost cells too! Drag fine chains through them too create flowers

I was going to use my heat gun but it broke last time and I forgot to replace it! 😅 Oh I've seen the chain technique, might have to give it ago sometime!

Does it have a bit of gloss or matte in the painting after a while or did you have to varnish it?

It dried slightly glossy but has more of a 'sheen' I'd recommend varnish it if you want a proper even matte or gloss finish.

Place greaseproof paper under the canvas to catch drops of paint. Then you can: *make other pictures with the dried paint *make jewellery *cut up to make mosaics *possibly sell to people wanting abstract bits to use in their art/jewellery making.

Thank you do demoing these. I noticed that you lost some of the colors in the first tilt, that is not usually seen by a good quality paint. All the colors should have moved but some were covered by the others. I haven't tried these (because I don't have during space) but do own and love the blendable pens and a silver acrylic paint. Arteza is just too expensive for my budget.😭

I loved watching this!! I like Arteza’s pouring paint, although the tiny bottles annoy me. Since you asked 🙄, I like the DecoArt pouring paints better than Arteza’s. My pours always turn out better with DecoArt - brighter, prettier, I dunno, just more appealing to me. 🤷‍♀️ Do more pouring!!!

They are quite expensive, theres some cheaper alternatives out there though, and sometimes they have sales on so keep your eyes peeled!

They might seem expensive but the cheaper ones (I found out by buying them myself) are dowdy colours. Not half as good as Arteza!!!
