I hate when some people credit every bit of Arties success to Howard... what about MAD T.V.? Stand-up career..? Book deals , new yorks best selling author...podcast...? The Artie Lange Show... i mean being on howard may have helped his career, but in my opinion , Artie helped the 'Howard Stern Show' and in those years he was there, honestly, he made the show what it was.... the fights with Crazy Alice... prank calls... the epic prank on that porn star crystal... this dude is a comedy legend & most comics would agree also... drugs just really got ahold of him, like they do alot of people...

+Patrick Gonzalez I've heard that and I also think Howard partially agreed with them or at least felt guilty about it. I'm sure he consulted with his shrink and they decided it was best for Howard to steer clear of the Artie psychodrama. I'm a big Artie fan but his track record is not good.

I don't know about his talent or anything pertaining to his personality, but when a guy lets himself go, looks and dresses dumpy, and doesn't bother to shave..It shows that he has absolutely no self -respect...This is proven by his recent suicide attempt...He has a lovely girlfriend, a Mom who adores him, and Millions of dollars, yet he still hates himself so much that he actually stabbed himself nine times with a knife. He's really beyond help ..
