Here is a Step-by-Step guide to updating the firmware on an Artillery Genius Pro. I have tried to make this as simple as possible, I hope that this helps you.

Finally they included the .bin file in their downloads. Had the problem that my Genius Pro sometimes thought he was a sidewinder sizewise. That made big problems on auto leveling. Before they only got the Source file for download but I couldn't figure out how to make a firmware out of it. Thank you for the tutorial, it worked like a charm and my Genius is finally a Genius.

I have come across your videos while doing some research about my Genius Pro. I feel like, this brand, is not that common in countries like the US, this causes a seriously lack of information on KZfaq about how to do basic things (Specially considering that, this is my very 1st 3D printer). Your videos, explanation, and step by step instructions were easy to follow. Thank you for your efforts!

I followed your instructions in order to update the firmware on an Artillery Genius (not the Pro version). I keep getting an error message from the STM32 Programmer "Establishing connection with devise failed". Within the "USB Configuration" window it states that "No DFU detected". Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Great video and explanation ! Where do you connect the usb cable in the printer?

Apologies, I thought that was in the video, messed up the editing where I showed that. There is a square plug on the right hand side of the machine that excepts a USB Type B cable, if you search on the internet you should be able to find that plug type, then the other end of the cable is a USB type A which goes into your laptop, hope this helps.

Thanks a lot man. I'm updating the firmware (and the slicer) because my printer started to stop to a certain height on the z axis while printing (the thirtieth layer with .2 quality). The problem is that it continues to extrude the filament and move on the other axis, so the part gets a sort of elephant foot on the layer it stopped on and the printer starts to scratch the surface. If anyone can tell me what's happening because I checked the gcode and it seems ok and the hotend can get all the way up if I send the command from pronterface or from the screen on the printer itself. Thanks again for the guide

Hi Ezequiel, I would not be able to test this but based on my research, it should work without a problem, just select the Artillery Genius Firmware files from downloads section. I really appreciate your comments, thank you.

Hi, I know this sounds Cliche, have you done a reboot, sometimes the port gets locked. Let me know if you don't come right and we will try something else.

Hi, if you go to Device Manager in windows, go to ports and check which devices need updating, right click on that device and update driver. If that does not work, with the printer plugged in, check which port is assigned, remove it and reboot the computer with the printer in and on. I really hope this helps.

Hola, tengo una duda no se si me puedas ayudar, tengo dos artillery la original genius y la nueva genius pro, a la original le actualice el Firmware a RAWR TFT (thing:4498609) lo cual llevo el menu a otro nivel y las tareas se volvieron mucho más fáciles de hacer, sabes de alguna actualización de Firmware parecida para la nueva genius pro. el menu es demasiado básico. ya me suscribí a tu canal, saludos desde Chile.
