I love the use of the non-photo blue! Old school but, so useful! Kids today, have no clue! Edit: Very talented Khary. Probably never see this message but regardless, thank you for the share

Is that a Koh-I-Noor 5600 series Lead Holder Clutch Pencil? I have a 5616, all metal one, and I love it, and in fact, it's kind of hard for me to use any other Lead holder. Good to see you share the same taste too.

You're very talented! I got a question for you, I love to draw comic book charactors, I even created alot on my own, but the inking is very tiresome to my left hand, and i love to ink my work. My question is, how do I ink in a comfertable way so it won't be hurtful to my hand?
@marcoalonzo1311
@marcoalonzo1311 7 жыл бұрын
what i do is i buy inking pens and use them for the outlines, and then for filling in things like hair i use a small brush and dip it into my ink bottle and just color it in

So what does drawing with blue led do? Does it make it easier when editing in photoshop?
@Trid3nt861
@Trid3nt861 9 жыл бұрын
with non-photo blue lead in some specific scanners and settings on photoshop the blue will not be picked up. This is a staple used in animation as well as comic book page prototypes. You can use it to doodle out concepts and clean up with india ink/G-Pen/fine paint brush. Hope this helps.

Fans pay more money for original art that is closer to the final book version than an unfinished version. The traditional art is tangible and something they can hold on to, so they place greater monetary value on it. Basically many will feel that since everything they saw published isn't in the page, that it isn't the "real" art piece. This has actually been an ongoing debate in the artistic community when it comes to reproductions and questions such as "what is the original?" Is the original the pencils, the inks, the combined one on the computer. If the pencil is the original, what are all the things added into the image that aren't in pencils? There are a lot of books, but one of the ones that talks about it in depth is by Walter Benjamin "The Work of Art in the Age of Industry." I don't agree with him on many of his conclusions, but he brings up many questions that address how the viewer responds to artwork.
