I have an Artistro set. Even though the caps are tight, some of the nibs dry out between uses. Sometimes I have to soak them in water and blot them dry to get them going again.

26:34 I can be washable if you put something over it and IRON it first to SET the Paint.. OR... even Blow Dry it... or set it out in the SUN... Turn it inside out when you wash it...

I like these, but when they sit for awhile the paint does separate and takes some extra time to shake them and mix the paint in the pens. Thanks for the thorough review.

Would you consider ARTISTRO White Paint Pen lightfest or archival for artwork?. It states Italian ink (not exactly sure what that means)

It drives me crazy when they're not in color order. That's the first thing I do when I get new stuff. A psychiatrist would have a field day with us. 😉

Do you have videos that teach how to dra like you did on the black little creamer,when you were reviewing the artistro paint pens?
@EmilyIllustrator2 жыл бұрын
I don’t, but that’s because this particular style came from the book, “How to Draw Inky Wonderlands”, by Johanna Basford.

I've never used them before and am having trouble with the white pen. It doesn't keep flowing and it is brand new. Does this mean its dried up? Wondering if I'm doing anything wrong before I return them. Thanks for any advice.

I’m assuming you’ve given it a good shake? Do you store the marker standing up, or on its side? If it’s standing up, it could be that is settled at the bottom. My best bet would be to (with the cap on), give it a good shake for at least a solid minute. I do that for any brand paint pen that I have that doesn’t want to work. If after that it still doesn’t work, then I would probably agree that it might be defective.

@@EmilyIllustrator thanks very much. They're stored flat but I'll try that. 👍

the Rocks looked polished.. maybe not a polished rock would work better
@EmilyIllustrator2 жыл бұрын
Perhaps, I wondered though if a more textured rock would catch the nib edges.
