Confession: I spent the whole segment mentally imagining Ulamog's Crusher (it's one of his minions)...I was actually disappointed when I remembered that the actual Ulamog has a face... Sort of unrelated: Anyone who likes Eldrazi art, you should absolutely look up "Angelarium". It's a series of angel-inspired art done by Peter Moherbachr, who did a lot of the Eldrazi art. It's aesthetically similar in that these sort-of-humanoid and yet alien beings are wandering space time and it's gorgeous!

Ulamog sort of looks like he has a face, but doesn’t. He’s got more of a series of bony plates on a head situation going on, as opposed to Kozilek who sort of looks like he has a head but it’s more of a featureless dome. Emrakul, well… I’m not sure even allusions to biology are very helpful with her beyond “flying spaghetti monster/jellyfish.” As mentioned though, these are sort of holographic projections of part of their true forms onto a plane, and this along with the fact that the three of them were/are more or less incapable of peaceful coexistence with life in general makes comparing them with life difficult. Words like “head” don’t mean much when describing creatures that don’t appear to keep their brains there. After all, they don’t need brains to turn your body to chalk, turn you against your friends, drive you insane, or just turn you inside out.

Florian W because Elesh Norn is a cheap ripoff of Yawgmoth. The entirety of New Phyrexia is like a speck of dust to the old pre-mending Phyrexia. Remember that apart from having literal flying ships and laser guns old Phyrexia had thousands of worlds under their total control and it took many god-like beings to barely beat them only after literally altering the future of the multiverse because Phyrexia was supposed to win. Commondor Guff had a book of all events in the Multiverse, past present and future and the only reason Old Phyrexia lost was because he rewrote the future. Meanwhile, New Phyrexia only has a single plane and they are in a civil war. They haven’t even stamped out the remains of the Mirran Resistance which were only being bolstered by post-mending Neo-Walkers that didn’t come close to the power of Urza or Guff or Lord Windgrace or Freyalise. Glistening Oil itself was a failed bioweapon that Old Phyrexia created and barely actually used because of how ineffective it was compared to their other biological and chemical weapons. If that’s not enough to convince you of Old Phyrexia’s superiority I direct you to the Invasion Comics that shows an invasion of Benalia and the might of the old Phyrexian military. I can go on if you’re not convinced yet, just say the word and I’ll write out another essay.

But upon looking into that everything urza related came after legends too, even if bolas as a character didnt exsist he still had a card.... And I have no idea what even was the story for the sets alpha-legends.

Yawgmoth and Phyrexia were actually first mentioned in Antiquities, the set before Legends. So Yawgmoth would be the oldest, but Nicol Bolas is right after him.

@@danielleal3808 this is true.. however., most of the Terraria bosses are well known. You could sneak by with plantera, the cultist, and MAYBE the brain of cthulhu, but that's about it..
