The Sun is actually more like illuminating truth and knowledge, giving light and warmth. You can expect like luck and success. the whole "Be careful lest you get burned" thing--that's more for like, specific spreads. If you're pulling cards to be "Let's see, who am I?" then you kinda gotta just assume you represent what the card represents, rather than the warnings exactly. The Empress is like the ultimate mother figure, often represented by Mother Earth (or Gaia). She's nurturing and loving and kind, and she gets joy from the people around her being happy. The Fool is someone embarking on a journey--he's a blank slate, containing endless potential to become anything. He leaps with enthusiasm and a hint of recklessness onto the path before him, eager to see where his journey leads him. The Tower is actually the scary card of the deck, but only because of what it represents in a reading. The Tower represents a great fall; the foundations you built your home onto are crumbling, and now everything is being destroyed. it symbolizes a crisis, or an emotional upheaval, and serves as a reminder that there's only so much a human being can control. Interpret this however you like in context of the Drawfee cast having pulled them. The wildest thing in this ep, as a Tarot person, is that yeah. Yeah these cards all fit. They suit. And I don‘t mean this as an insult, Jacob, the Fool gets a bed rep it doesn‘t mean you‘re stupid. But the fact that you got it was so fitting for the way you were avoiding it 😂

I watched a animation of this episode and now that I know Jacob gets the fool, I just got so giddy when he said “if I get the fool I’m canceling this episode”

The next time you bait Yugioh like this, remember that Karina is holding a knife just out of frame.

Tarot Reading: Sun, Empress, Fool, Tower From someone who does tarot readings, the general reading that I would give with these cards is: 1) The Sun is something you need to think about. Are you happy? Do you think you are successful? The answer lies with the rest of the cards. 2) The second card is what you should do. The Empress represents creation and nature. Since you all are artists, my judgment is this has to do with your creativity, so make sure you are creating the things that make you happy (because of the Sun). 3) The third card is the challenge. I want to preface that everyone interprets the cards differently to some degree and expresses them differently. I won’t say that another person’s interpretation is wrong. It’s not a competition. My thoughts on the cards pulled: Sun, Empress, Fool, Tower. Read as cards 1&2 together, card 3, and then card 4. The sun and empress together indicate that historically that Drawfee has been a labor of love or a reprieve from your duties and the mundane energy sucks of life. The fool indicates the turning point where the way forward is unclear but during this time we can see what works and what doesn’t. There is a sense of frivolity to this card. Almost as if this interim period is limbo for you to figure out whether you’re falling off the cliff or rising above. The Tower is one that people shy away from but for me it’s a catalyst for change. At the end of this period (say six months from time of this recording) you’ll know more fully what didn’t work for you and have some solid things lined up for your work/life. Don’t be afraid of things falling apart because they reveal how strong the foundation actually is and where it needs work.
