Names for the Pokemons: Tuskanite (Tusk and Granite) Kusabara (Kusa(nagi) a legendary Japanese sword and (capy)bara. Also bara is a term in the anime community for muscular men) Mystifloe (Mysti(c) for the psychich type, floe is a sheet of floating ice and it sounds like the "ow" in "crow")

Happyderm Dex entry: from when it was born Happyderm almost always floats. When it gets excited, it will strike the ground with its trunk and feet. This sometimes causes earthquakes. Capitana Dex entry: Capitanas live alone, rarely going into more civilized areas. They train deep in the forest, honing their skills to eventually return to their packs.

COREVICE: This legendary Pokémon loves taking shinies for it's collection. Researchers are unsure if it is more icy wind or bird. Unlike many other bird Pokémon she refuses to fly, some say that if you make it fly against it's will, it will flap it's wings about your face and cover it in ice that is -30 Celsius. It also likes boxes.

FUN FACT: The same part of the brain that lights up when we see something adorable, lights up when elephants see humans. Therefore elephants find us cute ^-^ Auxiliary fun fact: Capibaras can be seen in many pictures chilling next to crocodiles, and other dangerous creatures.... they are too chill to kill! (they also clean up their own feces.... bit of a less cute fact) I'm sorry Julia.... I have no cute fun facts about crows..... Just that they will place things in the middle of the road so that it can be crushed open, also one of the smartest birds. OMG WAIT HANG ON I just also remembered that they can recognize faces and friends edit: I love how everyone is commenting on this post about the crow stuff but y'all seem to completely skip over the "capibaras eat their own feces" thing. Super surprised nobody suggested Ghost for Julia. Also, Jynx is based on a witch that lives in the snowy mountains, hence the ice type.

Jynx has stronger connections to yamanba, which has a noh play about a dancer (and the yamanba herself dances the finale as well), and a fashion trend which involved girls with extreme tans, which is probably what inspired the original black face. (I recommend anyone googling the yamanba fashion, it's nuts)

I think the Charizard Flying type confusion came from the fact that, in the original games, Charizard couldn't learn the MOVE "Fly", but it could in games since.

Pokedex Entries (with names I came up with) Jublaphant (juub-la-phant) - The Jubilant Pokémon. Jublaphant are known as one of the most playful Pokémon.
