In this video I bring you along a sketch with me where I finish my sketchbook and show you guys how I completed the 100 hands! I loved doing this challenge since it’s a great way to improve your art skills and experiment! Creating in my sketchbook is one of my favorite ways to create and I hope you enjoy this satisfying process. I also hope it inspires you to take on a challenge yourself and improve your art skills! Remember to have fun with it and enjoy!

Jess, i gotta say something. You're training sessions inspire me, and I'm not even talk about art. The way you practice in such a positive perspective at the same tame you trully challenge yourself makes wanna practice too, all kind of things. All these hands are incredible! The one holding the carnation could be posted everywhere in my country - we celebrate our freedom day (25th April) with carnations, so hands holding them is super meaningful to us! Check out the Portuguese carnation revolution, 1974 :D

I enjoy watching art tutorials on a regular basis, but generally wouldn't watch 27 minutes of hand sketches. Your creativity made this very interesting and you have great presentation skills. I enjoyed every minute. It challenges me to do more sketching myself. Thanks for sharing this video.

HANDS DOWN TO YOU QUEEN 💗💗 i tried do hands (like really study it) for a week and it was frustrating and fun at the same time! i did see some improvement tho :)))) i was not really good in drawing in general and i was happy i did that!

Thanks Jess for the Tipp with the 100/Challenges/Sketchbook and the great Videos about Heads and Hands!!!.....I started relatively new with drawing and sketching (62 years old/started May 2020, because of Corona staying home). I make now a challenge for me with 100 Sketches/people in Motion in my sketchbook because of your motivation. I draw figure 56 now and I really can see progress and have a lot of fun. My next project will be the hands. Thanks a lot once more, greatings from Vienna Austria

I really appreciate you celebrating your good work and speaking positively about most of your art. It is natural to be disappointed with some of our art. We are bound to be underwhelmed with some of what we create sometimes. However, I find many KZfaq artists (women mainly) scolding themselves and downplaying their skills throughout their videos-which make them hard to watch ( the interjections of phrases such as “I’m such a klutz or “I am such a nerd” or “I am so scare or nervous”) I not only appreciate your skills but also your confidence! Brava! Also, thank you for your cross-hatching tips❤️

For me, I struggle with motivation at the beginning. Once I have started it's easy to keep going as I know I'll be disappointed if I give up but at the beginning I havent done anything yet so it's easier to never start. I wish I could be as motivated as you, these look AMAZING!

This video is so so soo amazing😍. It has taught me much more than just sketching, painting and colouring. It was a great idea to add sign language, numbers and mudras which made the video super interesting 😃❤. And yes, you should definitely print the 2nd spread & the painting on spread 8 would look amazing as stickers😍. You are a great inspiration for beginners like me. What an awesome way to learn. I taught myself signing when I ran a bar and had a customer who communicated by signing. He was so appreciative and it made me feel great.

A signed alphabet spread is a great idea. I'm loving this video. You are very talented and giving great ideas that any level of artist can use to improve. A few months ago, i drew sign-hands on page 1 of my second sketchbook, spelling 'sketchbook 2' but didn't think about doing the whole alphabet for hand practice.

Absolutely stunning! Your pencil and ink drawings reminds me of all the line and ink drawings in old books, I LOVE that style with the hatching. I need to practice hands, they are so intimidating 😜
