I notice she never criticizes her work in her sketchbook tours. Most people rant about how much they hate each page, she always gives her work grace and speaks life and positivity into what she creates❤

I'm 51 years old and in 2023 I decided it was time to explore new (and old) horizons. I have always loved art and illustration but have not sketched much at all in the past 20 years. Your sketchbook tours, tips and tricks, and instructional videos have been a great inspiration to me in rediscovering my passion for sketching and painting. Thank you so much for being such a kind and patient guide throughout this ongoing process.

Most comfortable feeling for me is to sit in the morning (not the early morning, but morning when you woke up by your own desire instead of be woken up by alarm when you work 6 days a week and always wake at 7), eating breakfast that I want and watching your video when it is so quiet and no one is interrupting me. Just beautiful.

I’m so blown away with every single thing you create! And I love every time you say that sometimes the drawing/artwork just doesn’t turn out the way you want so don’t get stuck on it, move on, change the scenery, draw something else. And I’m still shook how you did those 5 character studies in pen without doing any pencil first!! Seeing them again in this tour, I am just blown away by your natural talent AND the time and effort you spend developing your natural talent.

Excited to stumble upon your page! I go in and out of major seasons of drawing, my last was while I studied design in art school. I drew so much, started to develop a style and was getting quite good but it’s been about 4 years since I graduated and I haven’t done much drawing since the pandemic. Anyways, during that time. I was a waitress and started doodling with bic pens often during slow hours. The pens made their way into my sketchbook and I eventually found myself with a multi color pen and loved using the red and blue This is a long winded way of saying that I love to see luscious paintings and marker renderings throughout others and my own sketchbook, but some of my favorite spreads to look back on were studies I did in ball point and your style incorporates that look so beautifully. As I venture back into art for the first time in so long, it’s inspiring me to lean into this underrated medium
