@@Grokvar Yes, don't get overly ambitious trying to kill everything in a turn, focus down key damage dealers and let the Robots run the late game. Force them to commit strong combat into other units. I think 4 bots is ideal, make sure you keep your character command phase ranges precise.

I was crumping people pre data slate with data psalm, now the fulgerites with +1 to wound kill almost anything that isn't -1 damage. Corpuscari just delete anything t9 or less. Hunter feels really strong with 15 chickens and 20 ruststalkers. Have played around 10 games and haven't lost yet. I see admech getting up to A tier (pilot dependent).

I gotta say, after 2 games with it - The Stratoraptor with the +1 BS *SLAPS*, thing gets +1 to hits against ground targets which stacks, so it's a Lascannon and a bunch of anti-infantry shots hitting on 2s. Not the most point efficient unit for sure, but that model out of the 3 planes is actually somewhat usable.

Glad to see the glowup that Ad Mech has gotten. I was playing with the changes revently in a few games and they feel SOOO good. Def want to try more lists on TTS with models i dont have like Electro-Priests. I was thinking about the Corpuscarii + Manipulus combo and definitely want to try it at some point or even fulgurites + dominus in explorator with the Genetor enhancement (4++/4+++, -1 to wound while led on the acquisition objective).

Looking forward to seeing where Sulphurhounds end up... They're not doing well. If I'm going to pay a CP to advance, charge, and deal mortals - I'll tank shock with Dragoons.

I’ve had some success running Fulgerites as Enginseer bodyguards for the one following the Robots up the table; keeps him from getting sniped by skirmish units within 12”

There's a case for the Archaeopter Transvector as a turn 1 drop pod/utility vehicle. It's still a heavy investment in points though.

If you're running a surge, you might want to go mont'ka so you can use the extra ap from range and the ability to flat advance makes it mobile enough to threaten angles it otherwise wouldn't. I'd probably build a tank/battlesuit spam list around it so its a tough unit in a sea of tough units.

i played vs an ad mech list with 30 rustalkers and 40 vanguard at my last event. That list felt a bit too cheap and just dominated the objectives. felt like he was playing with a lot more point than me.

Just want to point out that Dunecrawler has a Scuttling Walker ability which helps immensely with its huge base, which I would say is a benefit due to his 4++ invul bubble.

You didn't mention that ruststalkers all have precision built in which is insane. You can trade into some units really well because you can guarantee a dead character. And a 150 pt unit with 10 2 wound bases with a 5+++ is an absolute nuisance to deal with.

Their issues are 1) large bases sizes that can be difficult to place through a ruin if its blocked properly 2) they struggle into elite infantry, 3) they rely on a Conqueror designed list and SHC advance and charge to be optimal. But they are definitely going to be seen a lot. Because they are stratagem dependent they suffer against armies with the new vect.

@@ArtofWar40k The footprint is fair. Out of my 5 reps running 20, they are kind of hard to physically fit them but they're so fast and efficient it is never really an issue to get them where they need to be. Going into 2+ saves with aoc feels bad but at that point they are just move blockers. 90% of matchups though they are trading at least evenly and then disrupting plans / forcing some commitment. Personally 20 are an auto include but just in hunter.

Why do you think GE chose not to fix the breacher arc weapons? Not having dev wounds when all the other Arc weapons do is so disappointing and would really improve Admech into vehicles.

Admech is competitive, at least. We still play the same way our guns just do what they are supposed to now. Tbh, I wish points went up more. We are still way low. Cawl, for example, isn't good. It was too expensive, and his abilities were weird. If you get him into melee range, he's alright, but for his battleine aura, he's expensive. For re roles same thing. I love that I don't feel bad for playing admech, but honestly 10th has just left a bad taste in my mouth. Most factions just don't feel right to me. Everything feels under baked. The fact that a common sentiment about the eratta is "how the edition should have launched" is a MAJOR redflag.
