Idk if you have this issue but I need to make money to support my family and even though I love making music and I bought a home studio, it’s so difficult for me to make time for getting back to my music projects. It seems to me that every year I work more and make less music. I wish I could find a way to make myself stop working so much (I’m kinda workaholic) and start making the music I have in my heart. There is just way too much competition these days, but if you want to make it big... be worldly. Talk about sensual things that the world loves. Cars, money, hoes. Make sure you throw in a lot of subtle and not-so-subtle anti-Christian lyrics. You will find that's a common thread in 99% of popular music. Or, forget about glorifying yourself. Just live your life, and thank God for it. If you enjoy making music, go for it. Just know that the top artists know what they are doing, and there's a serious price to pay.
