Arlan is actually the true destruction path when it comes to mechanics and how much it aligns with the Path of Destruction in the SU. Blade is very close but unfortunately my guy scales off HP xD and some of the buffs instantly becomes less optimal for him.

I always held the believe that all characters in Star Rail are fun, useable and 'viable' if you are willing to put the time and effort into them. If characters like Arlan, Herta, DPS Tingyun or whoever is your favorite, just enjoy yourself :D

In SU that's very true. But in farming its a little more difficult. You'll have to run some sustain to not have your dps Tingyun die. Fu and a single healer can make your team unkillable for a long time

Arlan is soo much fun in Swarm!!! I haven't reached 5 yet because my level is too low and my characters are unbuilt but he destroyed 3 and I haven't started 4 yet... He's so much fun with Destruction and I'm experimenting with Hunt in SU because of the infinite turn mechanic. Thanks for another amazing video!!!!

youve inspired me to build arlan because this is CRAZY. also, if you havent (i may have missed it when i looked), do you ever plan to make a video about hook? ive been using her a ton lately and she deals. so much damage. i run her with asta (fire dmg boost from her trace is huge), and, bear with me here, effect hit rate/tank himeko (for the extra burn) and a preservation/abundance character (fire trailblazer or bailu since theyre who i have). my hook is barely built and shes hitting like. 30k unenhanced skills in the overworld its ridiculous

Disciplinary Flicker makes Arlan much easier to play, because youo get to stay at 35% HP instead of 1 HP, so you don't need a healer. A shame you couldn't get the 3 star hunt blessing that advances action with weakness break. Destruction is truly insane, you just don't die and easily do 100k-200k per attack on a low scale. Got Jingliu, so I do look forward to trying her with destruction in Swarm 5.

Even screwllum likes his fried rice - Weapon similar to himeko but blue - Chad lightcone design - Was OP during CBT but hoyoverse was afraid of his potential - The only person who actually repayed asta for her kindness instead of just borrowing money (He never borrowed money from her not even once) - Asta's contingency plan if she spends too much -Black Airforce energy but is actually wholesome - And most especially, he's a short king

I will say, as good and safe as disciplinary flicker is. It limits how low you can get on HP, so I always skip it when doing Arlan destruction. because it lets me ball harder

i add a filter when editing that sharpens it up/improves the colorization a bit so maybe that's the reason

there are a few blessings that do this! abundance - 30% (45) chance on ally heal elation - 65% (100) on follow up attack propagation - lots of them there should be more but i can't remember off the top of my head - hope this helps!

Finally, arlan getting the respect ye deserves, as a blessed f2p with fuxuan blade and bronya, most ofy four stars (other than qq) got put on the back burner I only recently started building characters because i ran out of stuff to do other than simulated universe, so i was building a bunch of characters, you should try yukong next, as ive discovered shes like a super heavy dps if built right
