Dude is 40 years old has been knocking people out for years. Vulnerable but his endurance is always get him through. Definitely emphasize core strength movements, mostly short range to mimic punching ranges. Explosive weight movements usually with the upper body but lower body supports in most, except bench press. Explosive pushups. Lots wrist and rotator cuff training. Lots of ballistic rotational throws to mimic punching with the legs and core. This guy is giving the recipe for full body strength and power. It clearly translates in the ring

You can train like hell but what beterbiev is God given, you can't teach KO power like that, he's not super explosive, either but you'll see a lot of his success is from his skeletal/bone structure. His bone structure is massive/dense. Must be very heavy handed

Beterbiev is, on top of being a smart tactician, just stupidly physically gifted. He barely needs to commit on his punches to generate power, so he's always balanced. He uses his arms and slight head movement very well for defense and is just crazy fuel efficient. Plus it looks as if he has rocks under his skin.

1:25 look at the size of the forearms… knockout power is in the wrist/forearms. Weak wrists and forearms create inefficient transfer of power when the fist hits its target. The ‘weak links’ in the process.

@@user-lp6qb3dv1mnah he’s got big strong forearms you’re tripping. You ever seen the video of him twirling that Olympic Barbell with one hand? Go ahead and try that, I train my forearms almost religiously and I couldn’t even complete one full spin. You need to have forearms of iron to do that exercise.

such an absolute beast. he could go up to heavyweight and destroy even the biggest dudes while being only like 215 or 220 lol. excellent boxing, excellent punching technique, excellent athleticism. he could knock out any human being who ever lived with a clean hard shot

@@carlosguillermo3305 i mostly agree! beterbiev is one of the only people to have ever knocked down Usyk so I think he does have some chance of winning, it's on youtube somewhere. Beterbiev is a strong guy and very disciplined though so I think he could stop fury if he made the right adjustments during the fight. there are no guarantees in boxing though! we are all humans with squishy brains inside our heads, it doesn't take much force to knock a person out no matter how big they are

Nah I don't think Artur ever weighed that much. Even when he campaigned at heavyweight in the amateurs he weighed in 83kg which is way under the weight limit

@@wilwong3113 I agree I don't think he ever did carry that much weight, but I think he has the athletic discipline to put on as much muscle as he wants and if he went up to 215 he would be even more terrifying (cause he's already terrifying even at light heavy) I just don't think many of the top heavyweights could deal with a beefed up beterbiev haha
