I gifted my granddaughter with a 12 hour stained glass class for her 14th birthday and enrolled me as well. Last Saturday we had our first class and I learned more about cutting glass watching your video that I did during the entire class. Thank you so much. I'm from OK now but originally from PA and bought a small TT after my husband dies in 2020. My dog and I travel together and just might show up on your doorstep next summer! I fell in love with stained glass after just the first class and since it's just me and Clancy in campsites I plan to take this new skill on the road with me.

Thank you so much for these tutorials! I'm curious about running the cutter off the edge of the glass. Do you do anything to make sure it doesn't affect the cutter, or do you have to do any upkeep on the cutter? I've read not to do it because it can dent the wheel but then I'm having trouble getting the cut to run all the way at the end!

Hi, just a quick very beginner question, with the running pliers, there is a little screw on it that no-one ever talks about, when I got mine I assumed I should set it first to the thickness of the glass then turn it 1 to 2 times more to place pressure rather than squash. Hope I'm doing that correctly. No glass is the same so can't set and forget?
@ARTyRV
@ARTyRV Жыл бұрын
Screw the top of the running pliers until they close completely. Then you can use the running pliers on any thickness of glass. You’ll then control the pressure to run the score. Thanks so much for watching. We’ll be talking about this at the Livestream, Monday at 7pm.
