Love love love your videos. Thank you for working so hard for us all!!! I would like some advice. I am looking into buying a light box...not nearly as big as yours. I am somewhat of a beginner and don't take on such large projects...yet! So, I am wondering if you have or know of a particular company that produces a quality product, yet doesn't cost both my arm and my leg. Thanks!!!

my cutter doesnt make that sound,it is scoring but very quiet which makes me feel like i haven't scored it right , can you plz adv as to why its so quiet and am i doing something wrong, i do not put oil in my cutter btw but i do keep it in a jar when im not using it and it is not leaving oil streaks on my glass. thank you for what you do i have learned so much because of you both.

Thanks for watching. The sound of your cutter tells you the density of the glass. Keep the same pressure throughout your cut. Thanks for watching!

Excellent tutorial series you have going here. I'm just about to start my first window and am happy I've found you to sub too. One question I have is how you treat the glass where you have the thicker lines? Does all lead came have the same size heart to it? Do you keep to the very inside of all the lines regardless of how thick the pattern line is? Is there lead with thicker hearts you use with the much thicker pattern lines? Sorry if you have covered this in the video, or another video all together, and I missed it.

I recently retired and would love to get into the art of leaded windows but I’m held back by the cost of the glass. Any tips on how to obtain cheap glass?

You could periodically check Facebook Marketplace or other online resources like Craigslist for folks who are selling their stained glass supplies and glass - cheap. Here in NC I’ve seen several businesses and home SG enthusiasts unload their entire stock of glass, tools & supplies.
