Purchased kushaq1.0 tsi on 4th may. Absolute beast in driving, good driveability and very good handling. Getting mileage around 11-12 in city and 18-20 in highway with light foot and not reving unnecessarily.

Purchased taigun 1L highline MT on April 2022. Completed 15000 km till date. I’m super proud that I chose taigun out of all the other competitors in the segment. Adding to my joy is the 5 star GNCAP rating which it scored. I don’t think one can get better driving dynamics and this handling below 20Lakhs. Have touched it 150km/hr+ several times, the confidence and stability which it offered at such speed was at par 👌🏻. Will conclude it by saying that I’m also completely satisfied with it’s AC performance.

I know man, it is probably the best compact SUV under 23Lacs. Arun is a local Haryanvi chhapri, proud Kia-Hyundai fan boy, dishonest and cringe. He only points out the cosmetics and calls himself a reviewer without even driving the car he supposedly "reviews". Also due to low self-esteem in Hyundai, Suzuki and Kia buyers, it is an escape from reality to criticize Skoda/VW.

@@vikasgowda1391 Chalayi to main 210kmph tak hai and I know it's tested at 64Kmph, does that change the fact that Taigun is safer than all of the competition in the same segment? What are you even talking about? Does that mean we should not ask for safe cars on our pathetic roads? Everyone knows that, the fact is other manufacturers like Kia/Hyundai/Maruti aren't even doing that? Why? Because it's not important to them since their cars are selling in mass numbers. Consumers have not yet prioritised safety. These same companies offer a safer variant of the same car in other car markets like Thailand, Indonesia. So I really don't understand where the hate is coming from?

@vikasgowda1391 bro, do you even know what you are talking? A car rated low at lower speeds doesn't miraculously become safe at higher speeds. If it is rated low at 65, it for sure is not safe at 130+

Frankly speaking, gaon ke logo ki soch maruti aur Hyundai ke aage jaati hi nahi, no offense but it's reality. Mei bhi farmer hu aur IIT graduate bhi. Par gaon ke log nahi samajh paate ki ye first lot ki gaadi hei aur isme thodi quality issues hote hei but vo resolve ho gaye hei. Rahi baat mileage ki toh mujhe lagta hei ye owner sports mode mei chalata hei. 1.0 tsi engine, award winning engine hei jo 20+ ki bhi mileage nilkal sakta hei. Abhi car new hei aur 1st oil change bhi nahi hua hei toh cum mileage aana expected hei. Agar user manual padha hota toh pata chalta pehle 2500 km ke period ko run-in time kehte hei jisme engine ki rpm ko 3000 se niche rakhte hei aur speed 80kmph ko limit karte hei. Log is baat ko nahi samajh paate aur kehte hei mileage nahi de rahi. Mei kisi ko bura bhala nahi kah raha hu but it's reality. Kisi ko bura laga ho toh SORRY......

Surprised after seeing this review...I have the same car same model 1.0 litre manual... getting an overall mileage of 13.5+ in pure City condition and on highways it gives 16.5+... Don't know y this person is getting such poor mileage.. I am totally satisfied with the product

Well ye video 4 months old h to ye me clear kr deta hu ye Taigun ka newly updated model tha jisme kuch problems thi but wo starting ke 3-4 months ke batch me thi . Uske baad se company ne ispe kaam kiya h or car ko bhot improve kiya h . Ab jake jo new cars aa rhi h usme koi problem nhi h . Bina kisi darr ke aap car le skte ho .

My friend have this car 2022 model. On highway it sometimes give 24 per litre mileage. + 5 star safety + smooth pickup + smooth handling+ Smooth cruise control starts from 20 km/h Aur kya chahiye. And his car ran 65000 kilometres.

I recently bought Taigun 1L topline automatic.. I have not faced any major issues. I had polo for 7 years. Yes, there are some compromises in terms of switch quality, but not what is widely getting projected. Taigun is driver's car.. No AC issue with me. There was some error in cockpit, which the company is going to replace in week's time. Some cost cutting measures are visible, but the safety of the car is top, in the respective segment. As far the mileage is concerned, I am based out of Mumbai, in the city, it gives me close around 9 to 11 kmpl, and on highway goes around 14-16 depending on the speed..

I'm planning to buy 1.5L manual. But the 1.5 automatic is also very tempting. My reason to go for the manual is a better speed control for overtaking esp in the ghat section. The second reason is that I've read that the VW DSG automatic engines have some fundamental problems that appear after 2 or three years' time (or depending on the distance traveled). These engines are made in Germany and imported. The cost of repairs will be very high. I'd be happy to get your feedback. Thank you. The downside of the manual is that I found the clutch to be very deep. It can cause stress to the legs in city driving.

@@guruadiga : Driving GT, has its advantage!. Regarding the repair cost. It has come down drastically, as compared to the history of VW cars. Get a extended warranty for 6 years from the VW company and buy comprehensive insurance, which covers your end to end cost of purchase, which may help you, with your concern with DSG. Regarding, driving a manual or Automatic. Buy an automatic. It doesn't matter, whether you drive on a hill or a highway. The car sticks to ground on high speeds.. Because of the weight the Car holds, and the stability it offers. I wanted to buy GT, but, my major drive was in City, so spending addl. 2.5L was not viable option.. Lastly, there is zero lag for gear shift in DSG. and a minor one in 1L.. My experience says, get a good service guy (authorized service centre) in your city for seamless exprecience... I have the same guy (though got promoted), who was getting polo serviced and now Taigun.. TRUST VW.. (This is not a paid review, for trollers)!

@@darshanseth473 Thank you for taking the time and replying to my query. I totally agree with you that "Taigun is a driver's car" and I don't want an automatic to interfere with that feeling. In one of the other reviews a Taigun owner mentioned that because the engine is quite silent, he was missing the engines sound feedback to do the shift at the right time. I think this may one more reason to go for the automatic. Thank you again for the feedabck.

I have the same variant in Kushaq. On highways I easily get around 15kmpl. The stability, handling and performance is all great. And although few glitch here and there could be there but the service center experience has always been top-class. The build quality has been compromised- roof liners is poor. However, I don't think safety has been compromised. Doors are so heavy that people using other cars sometimes struggle to close it! One car was overtaking mine from wrong side at a turn and hit the side of my car. It suffered some damage but mine was so intact that it was not even noticeable. Overall it's a great product if you know how to use it!

In kushaq and Taigun AC is programmed to work at 21.5 degrees. Else it shuts off . There is no way to keep AC on at 23 or 24 as it doesn't work

I do find air purifier useful though. And if u really are into driving dynamics, why not go with the sedan ? Creta and seltos aren't bad cars at all Volkswagen might be better but it doesn't make those cars worse at all

@@bhavyajain2427 I recently bought VW Virtus, being a sedan lover, the only problem with Creta and Seltos is the safety, it barely scored 2.5 stars, Hyundai, Kia, VW, Skoda are almost the same price but people are choosing pseudo SUVs (bumped up hatchbacks) with fancy features over safe cars with great driving dynamics. Trust me VW Skoda's are so much fun to drive as opposed to Hyundai Kia's.

I have clocked almost 17,000 kms and I’m enjoying it. And driving dynamics, yes you really cannot argue with the inventors of automobile. 😎

Kamal hai. Mere paash Kushaq 1L Active hai aur gaari smooth hai bilkul. 14 ki mileage deti hai tank to tank aur hm gaari khiich kr maaje lee kr chalate hai. 15 diin me 1000 chala chuka hu 150 ki speed bhi try kiya hai. Koi problem nhi hai aissi aur agar build me gaari me koi kaami nahi hai. Mai to gaari ke haar hisse me ghusha maar kr dekhta hu clean krne time. Lekin ye owner ko problem aayi hogi. Hm to fully satisfied h lekin

The 1L Turbo is a GEM from Skoda/VW. I test drove skoda Rapid with this engine and loved the way it moves. On milegae part, this engine is very capable. Have a light foot drive and it will give you good mileage.. In test drive model, I got around 15kmpl on light foot. But as it's a 1L, as you accelarate, it will gulp in more and will reduce the mileage, but it will not give any impression of slugishness. you need to know your car first..

Untill they met with nexon, their worst nightmare. Nexon build is thicker than of ecosport, the doors are super heavy and body is robust thick and solid. Both petrol and diesel variants of nexon are heavier than both petrol and diesel variants of ecosport respectively because of the build.

I have bought taigun 2022... I get 13-14 average in city whereas 18-19 on highway... It has one of the best built quality as compared to creta seltos etc .. KZfaqrs are always paid to tell which car is best or worst.... 😡😡

I also have a Taigun GT. The owner has truly said his problem. I too have the same problem with the Taigun both with respect to fuel consumption and Air conditioner as well. There is no help from Volkswagen as well.

I am driving kushaq 1.0L automatic and drive it almost daily, love driving it from delhi to noida and getting mileage 13-14 overall. I love driving this german engine 🫶🏼 No complaints so far.

I recently bought taigun topline full automatic and before this i had polo..... I buy taigun because i love driving and Volkswagen steering stability and build quality everyone knows its superb......and after driving polo for 8 years i cant buy creta or vitara its like I'm using desi gun after branded one.... No Volkswagen owner love to buy maruti or hyundai after purchasing Volkswagen cars....❤❤❤❤❤

Owner doesn't talk about the how it feels when u sit in german vs korean vs Japanese Owner talked about the polo but doesn't know where polo lacks taigun shines specially the back seat comfort n boot space , ground clearance. Ac has tripping issue but doesn't mean it lacks in cooling. Why u should prefer german taigun/kushaq Korean just updates their cars more often u would feel like u sit in outdated car. A good car with solid built ( just sit in there) , great handling at high speed 1.0 turbo is easily beat seltos at high-speed as that's where turbo helps. Back space is nice is spacious which good n enough for neutral family .

bro it's not their fault Indian customer don't want safety and built quality there was a time when vw launch ameo a compact sedan and was only able to sell 2000 unit and if you talk about quality that could beat any other in that segment or you could say even verna ..but since Indians want air purifier loda lassan features like a typical indian🙂 so vw has to comply with MQB indianised platform to make their car more affordable and mileage friendly ....still built quality of this VW taigun or skoda kushaq is better than Koreans anyday 🙂...those who are saying vw degrade it's quality first read what they have to do to survive in Indian market anyhow they have to comply with government MQB use of indianised steel platform 🤦🏽‍♂️

Bhai same build quality you will find in kushaq as well. main gaya tha kushaq lene skoda show room aur jab andar baitha to aisa laga uska roof niche jhula hua hai. aur usko jab upar uthaya to wohi same feel hua jaise ye video main dikhaya...bakwas build quality . aur bahut choti dikhti hai ye dono gadi. Log pagal ho rahe hain german car german car lekin woh quality nahi hai aur ye dono main

The initial vehicles had some teething problems But they have rectified those The engine 1.0 tsi is one of its kind and for me I am getting a mileage 9 to 10 in city ride and almost 16 in state highways which is not 4 lane The built quality has been proved in crash tests Mine too had some minor issues in infotainment and epc error popping up which was solved when filled with premium petrol Comfort and no fatigue even after driving continously for 4 hours at a time whereas in Maruti Alto I felt tiresome
