Please note: While the pen appears black, it is actually a deep red. It is impossible to appreciate the fantastic lacquer work this pen has without seeing it in person. Despite it being the most beautiful aspect of this pen, I could not represent it accurately with my DSC-HX9V camera, and so chose not to focus on it.

If you want one that's under $5, I recommend the Platinum Preppy. Under $20, I would say the Pilot Metropolitan. I have both and they write excellently!

萬 is just another kanji for 万, and 万年筆 means fountain pen in japanese, so it just means "special fountain pen" or non-literally "good quality fountain pen" (tokusei man'nenhitsu)

Actually my brother bought a fountain pen like that and inks, hes writing a love letter for someone and he uses that, i kinda like to borrow the pen to look at it and open it, I open it and accidentally spill the inks to the letter with a god damn nice cursive writing he did for a month (hes been practicing it since he bought it and practice before writing) and so i re printed the letter computerized and re ink it again so that he didnt notice.... i think he really didnt notice

Nakayas are the most perfectly beautiful pens I have been able to find. They make Montblancs look crude and simple. I can only hope I will one day be able to afford one.

megAnNayo it is scientifically proven that if you have messier handwriting you are more intellectually advanced than those who have "prettier" handwriting, for example how doctors handwriting seem scribbled because they write so fast. It may seem biased but you can't deny the statistics.

doctors are often deprived of sleep due to long hours and working at night so they usually have messy handwriting because of that
