Imagine having your fountain pen custom made by an old pen maker in Japan, that's some serious swag. A lot of high quality pens are "hand made" to a degree but this man actually made the pen from raw materials. That's metal

@Usty It not the younger generation. It is the socialist system of education. It managed to sever the tie between wise and young and waste years with useless paperwork. Talk to craftsmen and count the times they tell you how lucky they are to be apprentices of some old master, because school taught them absolutely nothing. And it is only going to get worse and worse. And there is nothing you can do about it. Because it is politics.

I have to comment volumes on this video. The document has the magic of craftsmanship and the age of wisdom in it. This is the future and the past at the same time. It's about skill, love, commitment and joy. He gained precision and exactness as a form of peace. This is about contemplation. How can this be more religious and spiritual when his aura is all around his workplace, the way he operates his machines and how happy he feels doing it. THIS, only this, is the grail that KZfaq achieved. It's a great step for man kind in every sense. We found ourselves again through our guilds, talents and technology. It's Japan in the purest form. Even when he speaks in his language I feel a sense of accomplishment. We need more videos of this caliber. It helps us believe in ourselves once more.
