The Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition and The Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, in conjunction with Haaretz newspaper have decided to join forces and produce the Arthur Rubinstein Virtual Piano-Fest (ARVP). The ARVP will include live recitals by young Israeli pianists, performing from the Buchman-Mehta School of Music, engagements with former Rubinstein laureates around the world, selected highlights from previous Rubinstein competitions, live roundtable and more.
The Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition is an international piano competition specializing in the classical music championed by Arthur Rubinstein. The competition has been held every three years in Tel Aviv, Israel since 1974.

Crying my heart out again, always do several times during. Whenever the past year I needed to be uplifted & pour out my soul I watched this....his performance is beyond words. Sweeping emotion, power, spirit. Will be following Szymon's career👍👏❤️

This man is such an indredible musician and pianist. I could listen forever, if only I could keep the tears from my eyes! Syzmon is so sensitive ... amazing !!!!!

He was just eliminated from the 2021 Chopin competition. Didn’t make the top 12 going into stage 4. We will not get to listen yo his E minor Concerto.

@@tonytony8747 There is a recording of him playing the 1st concerto on youtube as well as the Rachmaninoff 3rd, which is awesome !!! I have heard my last Chopin competition because of this. I won't listen again.

@@philipsmith3084 A competition is short but a recording is forever. I have the same feeling that I didn’t watch the final in 2021.

The 2021 Chopin Competition was the deepest in its history. By now, we all know the winner is the wonderful Bruce Liu. Bruce was simply amazing! According to the now posted scores, he won every round. And rightfully so. I’m sad that Nehring didn’t proceed to the Concerto Round though. But the scoring was fair.

Szymon Nehring's playing was clear, thoughful, beautiful, and lovely. It was a religious experience for me and the orchestra's playing added to it. Thank you for this marvelous, beautiful posting! There is hope on Earth.

Très belle performance. Quelle articulation et quelle clarté ! On entend et on "voit" toutes les notes y compris dans les passages les plus toufus. Bravissimo à ce jeune maître.

Not just gave me goosebumps during the deep parts, but damn.. the originality in some of the lighter parts! 33:43 sounds like jazz. Never heard it being played like that before. Craziness!

כל השידורים היו מצוינים נכון שאת המתחרים לשעבר כי שמעתי אותם בקו נצרטים בכל תחרות וגם השנה הייתי בין הראשונים שקניתי מנוי בהרבה תודה פניה גרוס

Wonderful performance marred by Ads IN THE FIRST BARS of the piece then halfway through the first mvmt are just a few examples that break the spell ... such a shame

Pity that the Fazioli piano didn’t do justice to this excellent pianist, it sounding thin, constricted & flat! Only a Steinway has the colours, harmonic richness & power for a warhorse concerto like the great Rach 3!
