@@JamesPeach yeah but to be fair (and mind you I ADORE and am thankful for this channel) he lays out like 4 totally different possibilities for her, and seemingly all with equal possible likelihood. And any serious fan of the show would know there was like a 98% chance it would at least be one of the options he laid out, it almost certainly wouldn't have been some fate he didn't even think to mention, that nobody ever thought of. You only have to be right once lol

I'm glad to say that seems very unlikely, just because surely there will be no time to kill here in season 8, there's just too much going on overall. As much as obviously even many things in season 7 were picking up at great pace with the story, I guess the writers felt they needed to make all that Winterfell time interesting once Arya and Sansa were reunited so came up with that conflict. and hooo boy did it miss the mark.

@@jeffkellogg3531 That is perfectly true, but I still don't think such would justify how that s7 plotline went down. I mean it's arguable that Arya is the smartest overall Stark, it should not have been all that difficult for her to realize Sansa was not now operating from any sort of malicious intent. This was the worst consequence, it really suddenly dumbed down Arya's character, she was way out of line. and ironically, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams probably have the best offscreen relationship between any two cast members of the whole show lol

Hope she doesn’t die without finishing her list. I want to see her have mercy on Cersi. It would be epic to see Arya do all she wanted to and then maybe then she could die or wander off to the sunset 🌅 and never to be heard of again. Like her wolf.

This is near if not at the top of many fans' I've seen for most looked forward to reunions, but I have seen some interview material warning people not to get their hopes up too much. Not that it won't happen, obviously it will, but just not in the way some may be expecting (or hoping). That with how much both Jon and Arya have changed over the course of the series, especially Arya, that's going to inform on the reunion. That basically it's not going to be maybe as sentimental as some people are hoping for.

@@Megadog33 you have to remember that Jon is gonna show up with a Targaryen, two dragons and 2 huge armies. All for a foreigner.

I always had a feeling that their reunion won't be as emotional and loving as people expect it to be. Remember, she changed A LOT (so did Jon, but in Arya's case is more extreme the change). I'm just cautious.

@@Megadog33 just be cautious. Sansa and Jon's reunion was so emotional because they were the "only ones" left. Both Sansa and Jon reached the lowest point in their stories, Sansa was raped and abused, and Jon was killed by his own brothers. Both were vulnerable, and so meeting again is like regaining hope. Jon was resurrected but it was Sansa who gave him the will to fight again. When Jon and Arya finally meet again, I have no doubt that both will be happy. Will it be as emotional as Jon and Sansa? 😓 hmmm... I doubt it. Is a little unrealistic to believe that they'll be so full of possitive emotions, while having the dragon queen and subjugate the north to her. Also the AOTD. Also Maisie said that Arya will question Jon's decissions, and she will call him out. I think it has to do with Daenerys. Just to warn you not to have high unrealistic expectation...

@@Megadog33 frankly, I feel like that's not even a very high bar to clear, it being more emotional than Jon and Sansa's, as you say. Though which would follow character-wise, there was never all that much established about Jon and Sansa being too close when they were younger, whereas Jon and Arya, despite spending no more than 2.5 minutes on screen together in ep2, they were probably the closest of any two Stark children (besides maybe Jon and Robb). They even have Sansa plainly say to Arya in s7 that when Jon sees her he'll like totally melt. But while it will surely be emotional, what I'd read was just saying that I think some fans have built this up in their head like it's going to be a top 3 gut wrenching moment for the whole series or something, that they'll immediately revert back to their year 1 selves when they see each other, and it's just not going to be that easily sugary. Mind you, I say that being the same person who argues that Arya hasn't lost so much of her basic humanity and compassion from all her horrific travels that it's totally inconceivable her and Gendry could still wind up being together (if they don't have a future together, the most likely reason will simply be that one or both don't survive past the finale).
