Not saying all women are like that, but the whole "lazy girl" phenomonon and the "sprinkle sprinkle" attitude were things that were worsening every year well before names were put to them.

You do hopefully realize that a pension is not some "gift" falling from the sky, because the government is so nice? Pension is the money that people have EARNED trough their working life, that was put aside into a bank with a % of interest on top of it. So, it is not the society who supports the elderly, it is the elderly themselves who support themselves.

Exactly. Sky High prices but no wages, no home, food at an all time high. On top of that you likely need medical care throughout your pregnancy and afterwards for the child. Super expensive. You also have to take a sabbatical from work. Weird dynamics.

I would support the elderly side more, when they are working, a lot of taxes were taken from them unwillingly, over so many years, is only fair they should be paid back.

no problem is people retiring at 60-65, and living till 85-90. so less than 40 year of productivity at almost 20 years of pension. rising medical bills with age as they basically sold healthy habbots for money, cause their consumption to skyrocket. so a large part of population is only consuming, not producing. this causes pension cost to increse and government has to supplement it. so concept of pension is good and required, but not in current style. my suggestion is to support half retirement, taking easy jobs instead of heavy once and do all things in youth (cheaply and more fun) than in old age.

“Fun time” is what changed things. It used to be harder to have it without marriage. Now that everyone everywhere is doing everything, that incentive has disappeared. Women didn’t foresee this outcome. So, you are right. Thirty/forty years ago this wouldn’t be the case.

To avoid the empty feeling you have when you come home to a barren, lifeless structure. All the money in the world can't buy that feeling of completeness one feels with thriving children and a contented wife. Now I wonder where that woman is in this world?

Let’s be real the pressure to be married is really about forcing women to have kids. They are just being real they can’t afford kids. How many Chinese kids you see bawling their eyes out because parents work far away. They are choosing to not marry for much grimmer reasons

I know that pressure is hard for women. I had it as a US man in my twenties but shrugged it off as a man. Now I have 2 grown daughters 18-20. When you raise children and suddenly they are grown, it takes away your proudest identity with an obvious fix, grandchildren. So recognize that your mum doesn't have a problem with you, she is going through withdrawals. And even if your mum was in Au all along, you would still get this. My own time was in NE US when children were frowned upon, you were supposed to have careers etc, my own parents told me to live your life first, but I still got grandchildren complaining in my late twenties. Beats me

Of course its a price for a man to be married. Unless he wants a bachelor life style because that’s okay too. But traditionally, men sre expected to get married just as much as women.

No. Because the men are seen as more valuable because he can get married later in life and earn money for the family. The irony is that millions of these men won't be able to carry on the family name because there is no woman willing to give them a child.

@@peterwulff469A lady once needed legal help. She went and talked to several lawyers. Two of them were very nice to her and she was offered coffee and donuts while in the office. She then went to the third lawyer. She didnt like his attitude. He was harsh and spoke with colorful language. He asked a bunch of embarrassing questions. She got upset with him at one point about his attitude and he didnt apologize. Then she sat there and minute and thought about it. She replied "When can you start?". He looked at her and said "You know, Most people do not like my brash attitude and strait forward. In fact they prefer the other lawyers that treat them really nice and smile". At that she replied "The reason I picked you is because you sound and act like a real SOB and thats what I am going to need to clear this problem up". Good lesson for those figuring out who to get the job done.
