Beware of end game spoilers!
In patch 6, your Tav's romanced character won't become thrall if you choose to claim the Netherbrain. So my Bhaal's Chosen and Vampire Lord can now rule together. In Bhaal’s name 😈

@@Danileptic I was 99% sure you'd still be able to have the "become the absolute" ending with him, but at the same time I was afraid he wouldn't go "let's rule together" cus you refused Bhaal and you're not entirely forced to go for that world domination option. Thanks for answering! :)

Haha this is incredible ! I don't know if I could to an evil run in this game, I am too attached to the characters, but I like this big caricatural villain vibe, and I don't know why but it seems super cinatographic. Did you usd a filter ?

Yeah, it's really hard to be an evil in this game 😄 No, I didn't use any filters. This is just Larian's good job that this ending looks like this 🙂

Someone please tell me why everyone , even Astarion, was enthralled by my fav when I did this. He gave me the same line. And Minthara called me out the same way, but astarion was then enthralled instead of giving me the nod. I was so pissed bc this was my plan the whole time.

I have no clue why this new ending doesn't trigger for you. Maybe you are using mods? I heard, that they cause many problems in game and new things added in latest patch will not work because of them. Have any of you had a similar problem and can help?

I’m not sure if I wanna , I plan on ascending him , but my character falls in nuetral column alignment leaning towards good. There’s a lot she’d do for Aster but she could only be pushed so far. She tries to be a voice of reason

I tried to see this ending with my previous Durge x Ascended Astarion. But although patch 6 was completely installed and I had the kisses, my Ascended Astarion would still become thrall. :( I am glad I could see this, though. Thank you!

Is there an ending where you become absolute, but rule with BOTH minthara and astarion, or is it just who you romance between either one of them? (trying to make my power 3 here larian cmon)

I think, you can only rule with one romanced character. You must choose - Minthara or Astarion 😀

i plan on doing this for the first time in my current playthrough, i love playing as durge but my thing is I'm still rejecting bhaal i get to be evil on my own i don't need my dad to worm his way through

In what scenario the Oprheus changes to a mindflayer?

You must get the Orphic Hammer from Raphael first. Then, you can betray Emperor in Astral Prysm and free Orpheus from his shackles with Hammer. After freeing him, Orpheus can willingly turn into a Mindflayer.

Is this only with Ascended Astarion? I kinda want to try this with my current playthrough but I've heard too many horror stories about what the Ascended Astarion romance is like.

I think, you can also have this ending with spawn Astarion, but I don't know how he will react to becoming the Absolute with you. Maybe he won't encourage you to claim the Netherbrain. I can't tell from my experience, I only did this ending with the romance Ascended Astarion.
