@@Darkness007_ Bro you gotta accept the fact that she matured, so her emotions would be more concealed. Although the episode didn't convey obvious hints (most notably blushing) we saw many other subtle factors supporting amourshipping (green lights referencing french novel to love, serena's blue bracelet on left ankle symbolizing she is already taken, her quoting ash so many times throughout the episode, and her watching the boat leave off into the distance until the sun almost set. Think about it, who could she possibly be waiting for? Chloe? 😂) I'm sure we will get amourshipping one day, hopefully next year due to Legends ZA

@@Darkness007_ nah you’re good man. I can understand how you feel since I was also depressed af a few weeks ago because of the same thing. Since this is a “kids show”, the writers wouldn’t do anything obvious (ugh), yet finding the subtleties they left behind is the way to go! Serena’s change in her voice once she saw ash (much higher pitch), her eyes glimmering talking to him, and sylveon ( a Pokémon who can sense their trainers emotions) looks at Serena with worry because she is sad, and also Serena was the only person where Ash announced his goal to compete in the world coronation series. Serena, inspired by ash and wanting to be his equal ( to be with him ), wants to be the best performer as well. Although the writers can’t explicitly announce the ship upfront, they CAN ship it through small hints. Next year is the most likely year for amourshipping to take a next step, as the writers most likely are going to bring back the kalos gang to promote ZA. Let’s wait for next year together!
