DarkraiKnight Greninja got this form because FRIENDSHIP. Yet Pikachu has nothing and he's been with Ash for YEARS. Greninja lasted a Season.

The number of years has nothing to do with it. The Bond Phenomenon is something only Greninja can do because it's in his DNA; it's not just because of his bond with Ash.

Pikachu took down Tyranitar and Metagross, if he battled Mega Charizard X 1v1 he would have destroyed him, Pikachu took down Regice and Drawed with Latios which is amazing. Also he killed Mewtwo and Mew.

Nah, the worst part was the league being rushed or amourshipping. Edit: I used to unreasonably hate amourshipping, so just ignore what I said about that, but I still think that the 'kalos league being rushed' part, is true.

No I was hoping he wins in sun and moon since it will be the Pokemon anime 20th anniversary would be a great send off for ash and hopefully get to see all his Pokemon battle for the championship (or whatever the hell they have now in sun and moon), and the league in Kalos was so rushed, ( Seriously I wanted to see more of ash's battles 😒)

Greninja just needed to win the standoff to break the 20 year lose streak. At least it made sense since Alan was battling mega evolutions, DiamondPearl League was bull with Tobias.

Kalos was Ash's real prime. He may not have won (as usual or the series would be over), but boy did it feel good to see him breeze through gyms, evolving his pokemon and just being a good trainer for a change. I'm happy with what he had become and this series is a fond memory.

And if he were to actually become one like he has in the Alola region then I honestly don't know how the series could ever progress or even be the same again. He's achieved his goal. Now what? You can only get Satoshi-gekouga by playing the Demo. Just like in ORAS, you get to transfer a pokemon you receive to the Full/Actual game. This means ONLY this one of a kind Greninja can change forms, no other greninja or other evolution stages can obtain this form.

Generally, hidden abililties have a high chance to be passed down. So unless Battle Bond (the ability that makes Greninja change form) is an exception, you can probably pass the ability down by breeding.

I'm 23 years old, I been a fan of pokemon from the very beginning there is no doubt in my mind, I will be playing Gen 7. I just finished completing the pokedex for alpha sapphire after all that hard work and patience. I'm still going to stay tune for the team flare arc and watch the english dub knowing that Ash lost the league because let's face it at this point in time, I just don't care how strong Ash is, the writers are going to still find a way for Ash to lose.... and it sucks.

Rudi I personally believe that if Ash will ever age the reason why would be that years and maybe even months last longer, for example if one month is between 49-51 weeks (depending on the month). This would explain why so many days have passed in the anime and Ash traveled so far but Ash has not had his 11th birthday yet, and it will allow Ash to stay young for many years to come.

Yeah, Bond Phenomenon (_Battle Bond_ ability) plus any kind of Z-Crystals can suitable for Greninja and Z-Ring for Ash. Whoa, I can't imagine how strong they are.

The Anime is kind of a dissapointment for the mature viewers. I stopped watching it a while back cus' about 95% of it (just like about a lot of anime) is just fillers. It also has a character who has barely developed as a trainer over 20 years who releases his best Pokémon and doesn't evolve the best potential ones, has caught less than a 10th of the current Pokedex, and has battle primarily with only team rocket.

Man, I remember when I actually liked the art style of pokemon, but now we have pokemon journeys. And don't get me wrong, it's very smooth, but it looks like they didn't really put much detail when drawing. I'm not bad mouthing the artists who are currently working on pokemon journeys; I'm saying this to the one who decided to change the art style. And when you look at the pokemon battle between the mega sceptile and alain's charizard, the animation was amazing for it being made 6-9 years ago. (A random guess) Also, I'm happy that we're finally seeing some old faces like serena, and ash's greninja; but only briefly which was sad.

Blast burn is a more powerful move overall, in a league of its own. While is BS is still understandable how CHARIZARD beat greninja. Maybe charizard had perfect IV’s while Ash greninja was lacked some lol. Seriously tho I know Ash should had won, but I was rooting for Alain. I just really like his team more!

The only thing I disagree with it's ash releasing this badass ninja frog (for me it was Naruto version Pokemon) and Goodra. I understand the reasons about that but I think that Ash didn't have certain success because of that. Only having in hand three flying types (Hawlucha, Noivern and Talonflame). Anyhow, I enjoyed Kalos so much.
