Ashanti was everywhere in 2002. Loved her music and it still sounds new. She has had a great run and comeback w the past few years. Now shes having a baby w Nelly. She has a very unique and sweet voice and seems like a very cool person.

I’ll never forget: there was a woman who interviewed with Tasha K. a few years back about how Ashanti’s father, Kincaid, started g-rap-ing her at like 6 years old. She was either orphaned or abandoned and unprotected, and he took advantage of her for years. Ashanti’s mom knew, but she was a DV victim herself (she says that Ms. Tina gave birth to Ashanti with a black eye) and instead of protecting the child, she attacked her instead, but she went with Ashanti E.VER.Y.WHERE (because she knew what was up). It breaks my heart that that got swept under the rug. 😔 I wanted justice for that woman. Hopefully karma doesn’t lose Mr. Kincaid Douglas’ address before all is said and done…. 😕 But, happy for Ashanti and all of her success! 🎊 🎉

Grammy awards, Love and affection, divorced your wife for the ungrateful fool, and she ends up betraying in the time you faces 20 years, yet she still tells you to your face that she was only using you, and that what you all shared for 2 years and half wasn't a relationship but a girl's Hussle..
