In this build we are taking a look at an exotic I've not given any love to. The Ashen Wake is an insane gauntlet that turns my solar sticky nades on Titan into Mountaintop shots LOL! I ended up crafting a lil more in depth build to enhance the experience while using ashen wake so make you listen to the intro! All meant for fun and entertainment, enjoy.

Those nades are far more powerful than Mountaintop.. MT is impossible to get a 1 shot kill on someone unless you directly hit them, which isn't the easiest thing to do.. These nades are easy, in comparison.

This build has been around awhile, if you can get in the zone it’s really fun but oftentimes you find yourself missing grenades, dying too much trying to get stacks of roaring flames, or leaving enemies with a sliver of health if you don’t hit them directly with the grenade. But I’m just an average player, maybe other people will find more success than I did.

I was slappin with it in quickplay. Took it into comp, not so much. Good players will recognize what you are trying to do and just bait out the grenade.

Comp feels like it's a beast of its own. 3v3, large map, different loadouts, different approaches, counters. More dueling, less zerging etc.

I always forget how strong niche exotics can be in pvp with the right builds. Im legend rank and always see Stomps, Dunes, Ophidian, one eyed, worm etc. Stuff like this is crazy!!!

Honestly these exotics give me some ideas for weapon loadouts both in PvP and PvE that could be bonkers. Try this: Monte Carlo + special weapon with demolitionist on it. For fun stuff I'm thinking Orewings Maul grenade launcher. Shooting and throwing grenades to no end. I sure do know what I'm gonna use to solo Prophecy dungeon with. AshenWake, taken armaments and more grenades than god himself could ever have. Ladies and Gentlemen. We got 'em. The most toxic, powerful setup imaginable.

Sweet irony. I mentioned ashen wake on Coolguy's video 2-3 days ago on one of his titan builds. Then a day later, mtashed pushes out an ashen wake video...and now frosty has too lol. Wasn't expecting this, but both frosty and mtashed are missing just 2 final bits to add to the destruction; monte carlo for that clean up, paired with a grenade launcher that has demolitionist. You're gonna be getting hammer kills constantly, so you might as well bring monte carlo in case you miss with the hammer and need to make a quick clean up to keep the pain train going. You might even still have swash x 5 from a previous hammer kill. And the grenade launcher with demolitionist to refill grenade energy when needed and also to just straight up be an asshole....because if you're gonna be an asshole, you might as well go all in.

I play controller on the PC version and i originally played on the xbox. Kind of have the same pvp experience I have as the xbox gameplay. Hell, I have a better experience with guardian kills on gambit playing PC than I did on xbox

It wouldn't work in Trials, you need Roaring Flames x3, there's only 3 opponents in Trials.. Even if it works with x2, he would still need to get both kills, then only have fun with the 3rd. It would suck in Trials.

Don’t compare an ability on a subclass tree that requires no extra build up to be utilised to something that you have to make a full on build for and focus religiously on making it work. If it was so overpowered, everyone would be using it

Honestly, the Hunter knife isn't that bad, I've been using that skill tree a bit more recently and it's actually pretty good. I'm not very good with the knife, but i don't think it's unusable. The precision knife is skill based, you need a crit and it doesn't have much aim assist. Compared to the pre-nerf precision knife, i think this version is better, i say this as a Hunter main btw. As far as ashen wake goes, maybe 50% of grenade energy instead of 100%? That seems reasonable to me.

I personally use a kinda similar version with the little throwing hammer and the feedback fence to make them explode but you need to pick that up every time so this is way better
