That's 100% true too. The good players got it easy now, and the bad players can now come up against, well, Frostbolt. Instead of us bad ones playing other bad ones and sweating but still having a shot. I'm not a fan of a PvP matchmaking change that literally comes 100% at the expense of the worst players who are already struggling. I'm one of them.

Croft you do realize there are playlists to go against players your skill in right? such as comp? i mean yeah im sorry if you dont like survival or 3v3 but the crucible was made to be a chaotic shithole

Croft Comp still have sbmm, and pretty much the only people who benefit from that matchmaking being everywhere are people on the extraordinarily low end of the skill gap. Even mid to low tier players suffer due to the extremely close skill threshold and gun effects where if everyone’s extremely close in skill level, it comes down to mainly weaponry and team play. The only time that doesn’t become the case is for players so poor at the game that gunfights are more about rng than player skill.

Most "stacked" teams i come across dont really have that good of players. Most of the time its bad to average players who think leaning on others will get them the win. I love mercying 6 man teams

Honestly, I used MT to complete the witherhoard catalyst quest and I felt disgusted using it in PvP. I never use it but I had to because everyone was doing the same thing and fighting lion wasn’t putting in the work.

There is a pre lobby error at times that also doesn't disable artifact. Could have been the reason why. Was up against a 1072 the other day. Was doing 23 with provenance and I was 1057 in the lobby.
