@@kxntia8327 Amazing fact it will blow you mind the girl named kaya at the start of the movie is actually ashikata fiance who gave him the locket. Also it is completely confirmed that she was pregnant with his kid. And his descendent from her passed down his legend. The movie name was first supposed to be legend of ashikata. That is why he has more screen time then monoke. You can even check the wiki fandom of girl name kaya it is real. The japanese women hated his character for him being a cheater. He was shown as brother to her for the western audience. Go check the fandom page of girl kaya.

@@turbotechdevs7912 how can he even be a cheater if when he left he was considered "dead" to them, also she let him go and accepted he would never be back. Also I don't know where you got the pregnancy from, they were speculated to be together yes but nothing more was ever mentioned, she even calls him "ani-sama" so I think all this you're saying is untrustworthy.

@@turbotechdevs7912 as far as i know, this is just a theory that people made on the internet, because in no version does kaya show as ashitaka's girlfriend. and I've never heard of any pregnancy, I've never seen miyazaki talking about it. I think people are just trying to diminish ashitaka

Mononoke reminds me of Amaterasu in Japanese 🇯🇵 Mythology and a blend of Brazilian and Japanese. Culture. It’s like she is the Great Unifier of the Amazon Rainforest and the government will name themselves Mononoke Brazilian Amazonia of the Matriarch of NATO and The League of South American Nations. I wish they updated her art style in the sequel and made a 2nd one where Mononoke takes her death to save Ashikata and returns to kiss him as Ashikata dies in a final battle during the 21-22nd centuries in the Amazon Rainforests of Feudal Brazilian Japan 🇯🇵. 😂😂😂 I love this so thank you I hope they make the Second Mononoke movie 3 hours with an intermission and old styled movie style like Lawrence of Arabia or Seven Samurai or Bridge on the River Kuwai!! 😂😂😂

Shame you didn't include the scene where she chews the jerky for him so he can swallow. In any other context, I would find that gross. But here, it was actually super sweet.
