What a night in Dublin last Sunday - some artists don't always live up to you expectations when you get to hear them play live but Ashley McBryde was not one of them. She played her heart out and hardly even took a break between songs. I don't know how she kept going and her voice was still perfect by the end song - a bible and a 44. I brought my two young nieces aged 15 yrs and 13 yrs who lost their dad last year to pancreatic cancer in the space of 6 weeks. He was a farmer and loved his animals and land and he was sure a dad that it felt good to be around. She doesn't know how big an impact this song has on somebody that is grieving the loss of a dad. Cant wait to see her again - maybe the States next time.
