Thank you! Have been back and forth with my kids this morning and warned them that the love of money is the root of all evil. Then ask the Lord for a 15 minute Bible study because I have wasted a lot of time this morning and you pop up! Beautiful!

I find Hebrew 13:1-3 very interesting. I take it to mean that even in times where you are down, or are not content. Keep loving people (and God), keep showing hospitality and putting your best foot forward. Remember that although you may feel like you’re going through hell (in the grand scheme of things) someone in this world is going through a worse time then you. I think it’s important to emphasize these verses as it shows that although it is important to be confident in God and that their is nothing to truly fear in life on this world it is imperative that we keep moving forward with loving one another and realizing that things only change for the better if youre putting your best foot forward

I’m having anxiety. My boyfriend is in the hospital. Had a toe removed. He’s been out of work for about 21/2 months. Don’t no how much longer it will be able to go back to work. I need your prayers love you guys so much

Amen thanks been dealing with this. It's hard being a man. Being the provider. It's hard to be content. Because if anything happens, it falls on our shoulders. But we have to keep in mind that God is with us. He won't let us fall too low. And he will get us back up. So men Don't stress too much. Give it to God.

Wonderful. I had more time in my schedule than anticipated this morning. I could have filled it with other things but God put it on my heart to find a 15 minute Bible study. I definitely understand when you say put God before all. When I started reading the bible in the morning and evening. Financial despair and material things were the main reason for my anxiety attacks. I am more relaxed and more calm . Less anxious and impatient about my upcoming projects. I STRUGGLE with discontent so thanks for this, we lost someone really close to us this year, left our home church, and I’m currently in some relationships that are really toxic. Thanks so much for this helpful video! It was lovely to learn how you approach bible study in a way that I can replicate in future. The verse itself was really convicting! I really struggle with discontentment from a career perspective, feeling like I am doing a job that I wasn't 'meant' to do, and constantly wishing for something more fulfilling / in line with the dreams I had as a child. To do this would require so much sacrifice, and I struggle to know whether God is asking me to be content with what I have or to strive for more. On a separate note, how do you decide which verses to study?

You are so welcome my friend. I am glad that it is something that you can replicate in the future... that is so wonderful! Thank you for sharing your heart in the area of your discontentment. I think a lot of us can relate with you on that!! Typically a verse that I will go more in depth with is something that I believe God is really convicting me of. Otherwise, I will either go through the Psalms on a daily basis or read through a book. Currently I am reading through Hosea. But in the meantime God has been teaching me about how to seek His face in the midst of discontentment, so I took time to look at this passage more thoroughly!

I would tell you to be consistently prayerful and let people know where your heart is in terms of work. I can tell you that as I just retired in December, I feel so unfulfilled because I feel that I spent my life on jobs and not not on something I felt led by God to do or that I even had a passion for. Be prayerful and go for it, finances will come. Praying for you.

I find the ad for your new sofa in the middle of the video super distracting. Can't you make a video on your other channel on topic of home decoration and put the ad there? We believe that Jesus was more than just a prophet. We believe that He is the image of the invisible God. On our channel we proclaim a Christian faith and stand firm on that. We believe that if you read through the gospels you can see that Jesus claims to be more than a prophet- He claims to be one with the Father, God Himself. We believe that Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament Scriptures and is the promised Messiah, no one can come to God the Father except through Him... There are fundamental differences between our beliefs but I appreciate the fact that there can be a conversation between one another. If you are interested in learning more about our faith, I recommend you read through the book of John. I am sure that other people will want to dialogue with you in the comment section as well. I hope you find our channel to be insightful of the Christian faith.
