Just FYI…. Too Good To Go’s goal is to prevent food waste! They do disclaim that you may get recently expired foods, but these are still good to eat (best before dates are not expiration dates!!!) love the video!! :))

My guess is that the produce and other individual items you were given have to be used by a certain date, even if they were still good in order to comply with food regulation guidelines. I assume if they aren’t used by then, they have to be discarded regardless.

where I live there’s a disclaimer for some stores that the expiring date of the products have passed but that doesn’t mean it’s bad too eat
