Roses Blue Yes. Many people knew there was an Reform and opening up policy in 1980s. But they don’t know how it effects China. It is the reason why China speed up after 2000, and become what we are today.

I am from Kunming, there are pinyin on pretty much every road signs and stuff, plus we have modern technologies nowadays -- no need to worry xD

@Kenneth Saw . - it is very easy to navigate through Kunming. We had no problems at all, plus they have a great metro system to get you where you want to go! Apple Maps is a good tool as well if you don't have the Chinese apps downloaded on your phone.

Surprise that you just order the dishes without knowing what you are ordering, you are definitely missing out on a lot of other tasty dishes! There are literally million of Chinese dishes. Need to bring someone who knows along next time.
