I can identify with this. I spent about a 3 and a half years being "homeless." I have a job where I have a company vehicle, so when my previous living situation became too much for me, I decided to just not even bother. I worked nights, then basically chilled/slept in my work vehicle during the day. I had a cheap gym membership pretty much just for access to showers and such. Every time I mentioned how I was living to other people, surprise and pity were the first reactions. Even my boss didn't understand how I could be content living in such a way. While I was technically homeless, I wasn't sleeping on the streets and eating from trash cans. Sometimes it's okay to not conform to societal norms if that's something you're not comfortable with. And frankly, I see those years as a real learning experience. It taught me so much about myself that I couldn't or wouldn't recognize before. So I don't have pity for this man. He is living his life the way he wants to, and doesn't consider himself "underprivileged" or whatever people might say about him. Kudos to him.

@@shigam8149 Depends on the room type. Tatami style or a big sofa chair room. On average you are looking at 1200 Yen - 2000 yen for up to 8 hours? During the night, the prices are slightly jacked up but you get to the stay the whole night there until morning. The price includes everything from shower, drinks etc.
